Are you taking advantage of Annual Passholder PERKS in Disney World?

If you have an annual pass, there are plenty of bonus perks that you can enjoy when you go to Disney World, like discounts on food and merchandise, occasional hotel room savings, and sometimes even freebies! For those who are heading to Animal Kingdom soon, we’ve got a heads-up about some new limited-time perks.
First off, there’s a NEW Annual Passholder magnet! Disney had already announced a new magnet coming soon, but now the characters have been officially revealed. The Timon and Pumbaa design inspired by The Lion King will be available for pickup at Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures from August 14th through September 22nd, 2024. Each Passholder must be present and show their valid Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, MagicBand+, or MagicMobile pass, and a government-issued photo ID to receive a magnet.

After you pick up your magnet, make sure to head over to Trilo-Bites to snag the Rafiki Wildberry and DOLE Whip Orange Float! This treat is wildberry syrup and Fanta Orange swirled into an orange-flavored DOLE Whip. It will be available the same dates at the magnet, while supplies last. To purchase the float, you’ll need to show your valid annual pass and a photo ID.

And last but not least, there’s also an exclusive new Magic Shot for Passholders! If you find the PhotoPass photographer by Discovery River between Africa and Asia in Animal Kingdom, they’ll have a special The Lion King-themed photo opportunity for you, complete with photo prop and magical effects.

It feels kind of scammy when WDW offers AP-exclusive treats for us to purchase. We have to pay for them. It does not feel special and instead sort of crappy. Also, this one doesn’t sound good with the sweet syrup, sweet soda, and sweet Dole Whip. Something balanced that’s sweet and tart is what we need, like the Citrus Swirl.
