Disney’s NEWEST ride will be available at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
Earlier this year, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened to great fanfare — and technical issues — at the Magic Kingdom. Around the time the attraction opened, it was announced that it would be available during the annual Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party seasonal event!
Not only will Tiana’s Bayou Adventure be available during the event, but it will be available via a standby line, a difference from its normal operation. Normally, you can only experience this attraction by getting a spot in the Virtual Queue that drops at 7AM and 1PM each day, or by purchasing a Lightning Lane Single Pass for it.
We were so excited to see this ride available as a standby line and were super curious to see how long the wait times would get.
About half an hour into the party, we were shocked to find that the wait times for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was only 40 minutes!
A little later in the party, the wait times rose a little bit, but it wasn’t too bad! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure only had a 50 minute wait!
For being the newest ride in the park, and in all of Disney World, we find this to be quite encouraging! Just like with regular day in Magic Kingdom, it may be best to ride the attraction when the Boo To You Parade is set to occur, since many people will move out of line to find a good spot for it. That may be the best time to find the lowest waits, but rest assured that it’s unlikely you’ll be seeing 1.5 hour+ waits for this attraction during the party.

I hope Disney institutes a stand by line soon for visitors. Please stop with all this “virtual” and Lightening Lane. Can I just wait it line to ride? I’ve done it for 30 years!

I’d love to know when they actually let party guests into the line. I know it’s officially 7 pm. Did people line up before then? Did they let party guests in line any earlier than 7?
