Disney World just loves keeping us on our toes when it comes to the latest snack changes and news.

You just never know when Disney may giveth or taketh away — but we do our best to keep up with all the updates so you know what to expect on your next trip. We’ve recently spotted some seriously controversial Disney World snack updates, and we can’t help but think there is a secret lobbying organization behind it all.
We’re not trying to stoke the flames of conspiracy here, but we can’t help but think Big Nugget is behind this latest snack change at Disney World. If you’ve been a Disney Food Blog reader for any significant amount of time, then you probably know just how much we love our Corn Dog Nuggets from Casey’s Corner.
Crunchy Corn Dog Nuggets with Cheesy Goodness
These bite-sized, golden, fluffy, delicious, nugget-shaped corn dogs might seem ordinary, but they are so much more than that — especially when dipped into molten plastic cheese. Our mouths are watering just thinking about them, truthfully.
We DO love our cheese!
So, imagine our surprise when we spotted a name change on the Casey’s Corner menu on the Disney World website! Gone are the Corn Dog Nuggets we once knew, and instead in their place are “Mini Corn Dogs.” WE KNOW. It’s a travesty. Luckily, the change appears to only apply to the name as nothing else about the menu item has changed. You can still get your “Mini Corn Dogs” served with fries or a mandarin orange.

This situation is peculiar to us. Corn Dog Nuggets never hurt anyone (we think) and when it comes down to it, what was the harm in keeping the name? Sure, Mini Corn Dogs are the same thing, but we’re pretty sure this is the work of Big Nugget. Who else would gain anything from a distinction like this other than chicken nuggets — the original nugget.

It’s basically like when the dairy industry lobbied the U.S. government to prevent people from being able to call plant-based milk “milk.” These two situations are virtually indistinguishable.
Ultimately, it seems our beloved Corn Dog Nuggets have changed in name only which is not the WORST news — but Disney, if you even think about changing anything else about these dainty dogs, we WILL riot. And we will still be calling them Corn Dog Nugs forever and always. Big Nug won’t win!!

Feel small. Or perhaps it was their nickname in grade school they couldnt shake. so disney did as Disney does and Changed it just because someone on Twitter said so.

The “New Mini” corn dogs will soon lead to a Maxi price for those mini corn dogs. If any other business does as Disney is doing would be bankrupt in a heart beat.
Can’t go to MK without getting these. The reason we like them is due to them being made with chicken meat instead of beef/pork. They can change the name, we don’t care, but if they changed the dog… that would end them for us.
