We are headed to Disney Springs to try out some NEW snacks for Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month!
This year there are OVER 30 new snacks coming to the Disney Parks.
From September 15th through October 15th, 2024, you can celebrate Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month with a variety of food options. There are limited time snacks available across both Disneyland Resort and Disney World Resort. Disney Springs is offering a HUGE variety of snacks, and we stopped by to try out a few of the new items. Let’s take a look at the new treats we tried!
We are starting off with Guava and Cheese Mille-Feuille from Amorette’s Patisserie. This treat has layers of crispy puff pastry, guava mousse, cream cheese mousse, and passion fruit gel. You can get this beauty for $7.75.
Next up we are headed over to Sunshine Churros to try out two different churros!
Our next stop is Sunshine Churros!

First up is the Magonada Churro which is a churro rolled in mango sugar, drizzled with a mango sauce, and topped with a spicy salt seasoning mix. You can get this churro for $8.50.
This one was our favorite of the two. It had a thick coating of the zesty and fruity mango sauce that had LOTS of mango flavor to it. You will want to be a mango fan if you get this churro.
We really liked the addition of the spicy salt seasoning. It added a great heat to the churro without making it taste spicy. It was a sugary spice that worked well with the strong mango flavor. We also enjoyed this churro dipped in the cream cheese, but the cream cheese did get a bit thick as we were eating. But, you can just stick it out in the sun a bit and it will get melty again.
We also tried the Guava and Cheese Churro which is a churro rolled in white sugar, drizzled with a creme Latin cheese and guava, and topped with Queso Blanco crumbles. This churro also costs $8.50.
There is no doubt that this churro was a guava and cheese flavor. The guava was a thick gel that had a jelly consistency to it. We definitely liked the mango coating on the other churro better as far as texture and consistency go. However, the churro has a great guava flavor along with the cream cheese flavor. Once you dip the churro into the cream cheese sauce it gets even better.
While not absolutely necessary, we do think this churro is much better when dipped in the cream cheese sauce, while the Magonada Churro was able to stand on its own without the sauce.
Now let’s head over to eet by Maneet Chauhan for a savory treat. We are trying the Tostones Nachos which cost $14.95. The Tostones Nachos are seasoned nachos with green plantains, pork chili, and Kachumber salad drizzled with raita and cotija cheese.
We thought this dish was some of the best Latin food we have tried in Walt Disney World, and we can’t believe it came from eet by Maneet Chauhan. We were able to speak with one of the chefs at eet by Maneet Chauhan who developed this dish and he gave us a rundown. While the dish is still authentically eet by Maneet’s dish, he was also able to incorporate his own Puerto Rican culture into it. The base of the tostones is a fried and squashed green plantain. They fry them a bit, squash them, and then refry them again which give them a nice, soft center while still being very crispy on the outside.
Then, the fried green plantains are topped with a pork chili, Indian Pico, cotija cheese, and raita which is a yogurt with spices in it. Finally, it is finished off with cilantro, onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

We think these were incredible and a great value for the price. You get lots of DELICIOUS food! The Tostones Nachos have a great amount of Indian spice to them, but they also have lots of Latin flair in them.
Now, let’s head over to The Polite Pig to try out their Blueberry Margarita Churros. You can get these churros for $7 and they are cream cheese-filled churros dusted with cinnamon and sugar, drizzled with a blueberry margarita syrup.
These are some of the crunchiest churros we have probably ever had. They are very well baked! Soft on the inside, yet super crunchy on the outside. We were so impressed with the texture. However, we were disappointed in the flavors of the churro itself.
The churros are cream filled on the inside, but we didn’t get much beyond a slight cream cheese flavor. The blueberry margarita flavor is mostly in the blueberries that are scattered around the churros. The blueberries taste like they have been soaking in the margarita syrup and almost all the flavor comes from them. They are a little tart and have wonderful flavor. To really enjoy the flavor of this dish, make sure you are eating the blueberries and the churro all in one bite!
Finally, we are headed to the Cilantro Food Truck to try the Mexican Street Corn. The Mexican Street Corn is elote on the cob, lime, mayo, cotija cheese, chile-lime seasoning, and cilantro and you can get it for $7.
We saved one of the best for last (although we are also still thinking about those Tostones Nachos from eet by Maneet Chauhan). This Mexican Street Corn was amazing. You can taste the lime, the Tajin, and the cotija cheese. All on top of the creamy mayonnaise. It was delicious and some of the best Mexican Street Corn we have had in Orlando.
It wasn’t super runny or buttery to where everything ran off. All the ingredients stayed on the corn, and it was completely coated. We can’t give enough compliments to how well coated this Mexican Street Corn was. This snack hit it out of the park, and we would definitely come back for another one. While it is a bit pricey at $7, it was REALLY tasty!
We had a successful day trying some new snacks at Disney Springs! The Tostones Nachos from eet by Maneet Chauhan and the Mexican Street Corn from the Cilantro Food Truck definitely topped our list.
