There’s a NEW Menu Item at Everyone’s Favorite EPCOT Spot

No matter when you visit Disney World, chances are it won’t be the same as the last time you were there.

The parks and hotels are changing all the time and you never know what you might stumble upon on your trip! Of course, we’re always on the hunt for the NEWEST foods to try when we’re in the parks, and we happened to spot a new menu item at one of our favorite EPCOT restaurants.

If you’re craving a margarita in EPCOT — there’s one place that stands out among the rest. La Cava del Tequila is the Mexico Pavilion’s “tequila cave” and it’s a wonderful spot for — you guessed it — all things tequila.

We especially love the Avocado Margarita and La Paloma here, but La Cava has a little secret. Okay, it’s not technically a secret, but if you’ve never been here you may not know that you can find chips and dips like queso, salsa, and guacamole on the menu here too! And, right now, there’s a NEW Pumpkin Seed Hummus around for the fall season.

When we tried it, we felt it was a bit sweeter than anticipated and had a rough, gritty texture.

The queso and guac at La Cava del Tequila are SO good — they’re the same as what’s served at San Angel Inn, also located inside the Mexico pyramid — and are some of our favorites on property. When you’re drinking around the world or maybe testing out some different tequilas, a snack like this one can make all the difference.

If you’re heading to EPCOT soon and are looking for something different, consider making a stop at La Cava for the new Pumpkin Seed Hummus.

The bar is first come, first served and you can either grab a drink to go or ask to sit at a table or at the bar — the food is typically only served when you’re at a table and you might have to wait a little bit (especially if you want to sit at a table) but trust us, La Cava del Tequila is worth the wait!
