It’s almost time! Can you believe it?

There are a lot of firsts with Disney World that we’ve celebrated over the years. As you know, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been under construction for a while now, but December 17th, 2024 is the day! It’s the day that the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows will open, and we can’t wait to be there with you to check it all out!

As we were saying, construction has basically been a feature over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for quite some time because they’ve been working on getting The Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Villas and Bungalows ready to be the latest in Disney World to join the DVC line of hotels! We’ve been tracking its construction progress the entire way, and we’re so stoked to know that we won’t have to wait much longer to experience all it’s got for us.

This new section of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is opening on December 17th, 2024! At 10-stories, it will certainly be the tallest addition for the hotel to date. Its rooms will be filled with hidden details (and Mickeys), beautiful flowing decor, and calming neutral and blue hues inspired by the South Pacific Islands! Although it’s a Disney Vacation Club property, anyone is invited to book a reservation here.

We really can’t wait to see all this new addition has to offer and to experience the stunning views across the Seven Seas Lagoon. Watching the Happily Ever After fireworks from there is going to be simply magical.
