Have made Mickey Waffles for years, so here are a few tips. To make light, fluffy Mickeys use cold water to mix your batter. Whip with a whisk and then transfer all batter into an old plastic syrup bottle with the cap. Turn your Mickey Waffle maker on, and spray with cooking spray, buttery flavor is you have. Squeaked Pour your waffle batter out onto a heated surface. The pointed cap will help you to direct the batter into the ears and chin area. DO NOT OVERFILL.. fill one side, and then immediately flip your griddle to coat the other side of the grill before the batter sets up. This will cause the waffle to bake and rise inside the two half’s. You want them light and crispy for your special topping. I hold a Holiday Mickey Waffle Party each December with 12 or more toppings that my guests can portion out on their custom creation topped with whipped cream and a cherry. It’s on the Mouse so enjoy.
