The Christening Spectacular happened on November 19th, and it was an amazing celebration! While we were not actually on the new ship during the event, Disney did share an exclusive video on board the Disney Treasure.
The event was led off with a tease of the Disney Treasure and some fun experiences coming to this new member of the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
We got a closer look at the ship’s interior…
A good look at the new Skipper Society Lounge…
Were teased with a delicious look at the new Zootopia-themed Jumbeaux’s Sweets…
Saw a fantastic look at the new Plaza de Coco and some of its entertainment…
Got hyped for the new Haunted Mansion Parlor and so much more!
Then, for the big show, singer/actress Jordin Sparks took the stage and sang the official anthem of the Disney Treasure, “Live the Adventure”.
During the performance, popular Disney songs were interluded and accompanied by drone images in the sky that pertain to experiences you’ll find on the ship, such as this Genie one from Aladdin!
We also saw other moving images like this ray from Moana, reflecting the new Disney The Tale of Moana show coming to the ship.
We also saw the Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion make an appearance!
Madame Leota in drone form is so cool!
