Disney World has been BUSY decking the halls!
We can’t get over all the wreaths, garlands, and Christmas decor and we’ve already had the chance to check out the incredible gingerbread display at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. But now, we’re heading to a different Disney World hotel to see what sort of decor they’ve donned for the holidays.
It’s official! The MASSIVE Christmas tree has finally arrived at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. We’ve seen holiday displays pop up at the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and more, but now this huge tree has appeared overnight in the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge. Seriously — just look at how gigantic this thing is!
The Christmas tree spans multiple stories — here’s a look at it from one of the top floors viewable from the lobby. When we say this thing is massive, we really mean it! There’s a large, four-pointed star at the top of the tree…
…and so many adorable details hidden within the ornaments on the tree. Plus, check out how many twinkling lights there are on this bad boy! In keeping with the Wilderness Lodge theme, there are lots of bear ornaments…
…and even some adorable little bear figures stationed throughout the lobby. There’s even one climbing a tree — which is especially funny if you remember the Magic Kingdom Bear Incident of September 2023, when an actual, live bear made its way into Magic Kingdom and wreaked havoc.
Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful hotel at any time of the year, but especially so during the holiday season! We love exploring the Disney World hotels around the holidays since they’re all decked out with the most gorgeous trees and decor. Consider stopping by some of these resorts if you’re heading to Disney World this holiday season.

WL is always the last tree up. A long-time CM there told me last year it’s because the WL decorations are located at the back of the storage facility. I’ve stayed there many times during the holidays & found that to be true. WL is always late to the party & the first one whose decor gets packed away, because last one out is first one in.

Now that a beautiful tree! I love Wilderness Lodge, especially for the Winter months.
