It’s OFFICIAL! This Surprising Trend Is Taking Over Disney World in 2025

We here at DFB like to think of ourselves as Disney scientists.

And part of our Disney scientist duties is studying the latest Disney trends. And we think we just found a surprising new trend that’s been taking over Disney World. So sit back, relax, and step into our lab as we show you our totally legit scientific data.

We’re always writing about several news and updates surrounding Disney World, but lately we realized we’re constantly writing about something very specific….LOUNGES!

Lounges are taking over Disney World!

It seems like every day news of a new Disney lounge is popping out left and right, including the DVC lounge in Magic Kingdom which is being built inside of the former Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade inside of Frontierland. This lounge is set to open by the summer of 2025.

…And the upcoming Spaceship Earth Lounge coming to EPCOT and inspired by the “stories, shapes, and enduring legacy” of the park’s icon. This lounge is expected to open in 2025.

And the highly anticipated Pirates of the Caribbean lounge that is set to “extend the story of Pirates of the Caribbean.” This will also be another new lounge addition to Magic Kingdom and will open sometime in 2025.

It’s looking like Disney is very lounge-happy lately, and 2025 is the year for lounging. We can practically hear someone out there yelling “YOU GET A LOUNGE. AND. YOU GET A LOUNGE. AND YOU GET A LOUNGE!” As funny as it is, we are honestly excited about all these new experiences to enjoy, especially since they offer an opportunity to sit back and relax while at the parks.
