NEWS: Something NEW Arrived in EPCOT, and Spaceship Earth Fans Are Gonna LOVE It!

Over the holidays, Disney World creates beautiful, life-sized gingerbread displays at several of the resort hotels.

2024 Grand Floridian Gingerbread House

Probably the most iconic of these gingerbread displays is the gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, but the carousel at Disney’s Beach Club, the baby animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, the castle at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and the BoardWalk Bakery at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn are all amazing! Each of these gingerbread displays returns year after year, but this year, Disney added a brand-new display NOT at a hotel! This year, there’s a new Spaceship Earth gingerbread display at EPCOT; let’s check it out!

Over at CommuniCore Hall, you’ll find the brand-new Spaceship Earth gingerbread display. It’s SO magical; it even lights up! This new display showed up for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, which began on November 29th.

Not only does it have lights on the display, but it also plays the Beacon of Light show just like the real Spaceship Earth does each night. The clock on the front of the display counts down until the next showing, which is every 15 minutes (currently, the sign says every 30 minutes, but a Cast Member let us know that it is every 15 minutes and the sign will be getting updated).
