Atmosphere
Of course, when you walk inside, you’re welcomed home as is the custom at all Disney Vacation Club resorts. It’s a nice sentiment that greets you at the door!
First, you’ll step into the lobby!
It’s a beautiful space with stunning details and art.
Plus, there are relaxing seating areas for you to enjoy while you’re checking in, relaxing during a break, or just want to sit and enjoy the views.
The lobby is great, but let’s check out the rooms!
Accommodations
Now, it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for — the rooms! There are multiple different room types for parties of different sizes, but we’re checking out a Duo Studio room first. Duo Studio rooms sleep two guests, while a Deluxe Studio sleeps up to four.

Dining
If you’re staying at the Island Tower or just want to stop by and visit, one of the things you don’t want to miss is the new restaurant — Wailulu Bar & Grill!
This spot is a walk-up pool bar with an elevated experience! You’ll find grab-and-go breakfast items, and then Polynesian-inspired favorites on the menu for lunch and dinner.
We got to try a few items on the menu, and we were IMPRESSED! Plus, there’s a patio with a great view of Seven Seas Lagoon here, and they’ll play the music for the Magic Kingdom fireworks shows each night.
You won’t want to miss stopping here during your stay at the new Island Tower!

Recreation
Of course, there are plenty of things to do at this new tower when you’re not eating or sleeping — starting with the pool area!
There’s also a water play area for your little ones, and it’s themed to Moana! They’ve even got a replica of her boat, complete with a sail.
Don’t forget to stop by these fun new areas during your stay!
