The highly-anticipated Epic Universe theme park is opening at Universal Orlando Resort on May 22, 2025. And three brand new hotels are also coming to the Resort to accommodate more guests, including two park-adjacent sister hotels: Universal Terra Luna Resort and Universal Stella Nova Resort by Loews Hotels.

Universal Terra Luna Resort, which we are exploring on this page, will open on March 25th, 2025. (Stella Nova Resort, Terra Luna’s sister property, is set to open first, on January 21st, 2025.) The hotels, according to Universal, will “place guests in the center of marvelous galaxies and diverse planetary elements for an experience unlike anywhere else in the universe – complete with tranquil sleeping accommodations, entertaining amenities for the whole family to enjoy, various cosmic-inspired dining options and so much more.”

Specifically, Terra Luna draws its inspiration “from the planets and terrain around our solar system.”

Together, both hotels will offer 1,500 “ultramodern” rooms with rates starting at $147 per night (plus tax) based on a stay of four nights or more.

Stop by Omega Cafe and Market for quick service dining and a selection of grab-and-go items for all three meals. Options will feature American classics like burgers, paninis, fried chicken and pastas.

Relaxing by the pool? Moonrise Grill is available poolside, where guests can grab drinks and dine on burgers, quesadillas, and salads. Moonrise Bar is a full-service bar also serving beer and wine.

You can also enjoy a classic or craft cocktail, or drink a beer or wine at Luna Bar in the lobby!
