Happy New Year! We’re excited for all that’s in store at Disney World in 2025 and we certainly don’t blame you if you’re planning a trip, too!
There are SO many new things coming to the parks and beyond this year, like a new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom, new Villains and Little Mermaid shows at Hollywood Studios, and new lounges at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, too. A bunch of new hotel discounts just dropped, too, so you can save a bit of dough. But, there’s one MASSIVE problem with Disney World’s new hotel discounts.
New year, new discounts! Disney just dropped three NEW discounts that can help you save money on your 2025 vacation. New deals for summer 2025 have arrived for everyone — plus there are specific discounts for Annual Passholders and Florida Residents, too! But if you ask us, there’s one massive problem with these deals.
There’s a new hotel discount that anyone can use, as long as your travel dates and resort booking qualify! Save up to 30% on certain rooms at Disney World hotels when you stay five consecutive nights or longer (and there are other discounts for shorter lengths of stay too!). This offer is valid for most nights from May 1st to September 30th, 2025.
If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, you can score a little EXTRA discount on your next hotel stay! You can get up to 40% off rooms for stays from June 1st to July 31st, 2025, or 35% off rooms from May 1st to May 31st, 2025.
And last but not least, we’ve got to mention the special deal for Florida Residents! Save up to 35% on rooms for stays most nights from May 1st to July 31st, 2025 when you book by February 24th, 2025. The discount will still be available on February 25th and later, but the savings will drop down a bit at that point.
Here’s the thing, though — when Disney says “save up to…” the biggest discounts are actually reserved for the MOST expensive hotels. That sounds great, right? Sure, until you realize that everyone wants to score those top savings — meaning the rooms available can sell out pretty quickly.
Luckily, there are typically plenty of other discounts available other than what’s available at the Deluxe Resorts, so you should still be able to find a discount if you hurry!
If you’re planning on booking a trip, we recommend using our travel agent friends over at Small World Vacations! They’re experts in planning Disney vacations, and they’ll be able to help you through the whole process — making sure you can get the best deal for you.
In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for the latest discounts and deals you might find around Disney World. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog so you don’t miss any important news or announcements!

As always there are no discounts for Disney’s most loyal. If your vacation club we are automatically excluded if you’re going in with points Which are not inexpensive.

Already looked for those discounts and if you ask me they sure aren’t as good as they used to be. Of course Disney has raised their prices so much, even for the bargains 🤣😂 that it still doesn’t help much. Plus they’re almost all gone already.

Remember if you have a Target Circle card (formerly Target Red card) you can save 5% on your purchase of Disney Gift cards! This can add up to a decent bit of savings if you buy cards to pay for your Resort, tickets and extras like food and souvenirs. Once purchased, you can go to Disneygiftcard.com and consolidate your cards there. I do this every Disney vacation and have saved a tidy sum over the years.

As DS says in a previous comment they exclude DVC members from basically everything. No advantages there. Sold mine when I was told that my points would run out as planned at the end of said year during Covid BUT anyone who was not a DVC member would be able to reschedule whenever they wanted to ! No advantage there. They treated us ( who were basically supporting them) like the red headed step child. No thanks!!!
