As we said, this list might get a bit long, so grab your favorite snack and let’s go over our top Disney World dishes that you’re going to want to try in 2025! We’re going to break this list down by park/resort hotel to make things a bit clearer. Alright, let’s dive right in.
Magic Kingdom
Skipper Canteen – Baa Baa Lamb Chops
The Skipper Canteen is an adventurous gem in Adventureland that never disappoints, and the Baa Baa Lamb Chops are next-level delicious. These spice-rubbed lamb chops are served with a medley of chermoula, cauliflower, potatoes, cipollini onions, and harissa sauce, then garnished with preserved lemons and herbs.
What makes this dish exceptional is the balance of flavors and textures. The lamb is the undeniable star—juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The preserved lemons and herbs add a delightful crispiness and burst of brightness, while the vegetables round out the plate with a hearty, satisfying touch. And let’s talk about that harissa sauce. It’s like a peppery Sriracha with just the right kick to tie everything together. Whether you’re a lamb lover or trying it for the first time, this is a must-order for adventurous eaters!
Columbia Harbour House – Trio Platter
For a hearty, no-frills meal in the heart of Liberty Square, the Trio Platter at Columbia Harbour House hits the spot. This fried feast includes three crispy shrimp, two golden chicken strips, and two pieces of thick-battered fish, served with hushpuppies and your choice of side (we highly recommend the fries!).
The shrimp is the standout here, with a perfectly crunchy coating and juicy interior, but the chicken strips hold their own, too—moist, flavorful, and oh-so-satisfying. The fish is great if you’re a fan of thick, crunchy batter, though some may find it a touch over-breaded. But let’s not forget the hushpuppies: little balls of fried perfection, with a crispy golden shell encasing a warm, spiced cornbread center. These alone might be worth the trip!
This meal is generous enough to share but so tasty you might not want to. It’s the ultimate comfort food, perfect for refueling during a busy day at Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT
Garden Grill – Harvest Feast
At EPCOT’s Garden Grill, the Harvest Feast is more than just a meal. It’s a cozy, family-style dining experience that combines fresh ingredients, comforting flavors, and some fun character interactions (Chip and Dale might take credit for your mac and cheese toppings!).
The first course sets the tone with warm cornbread served alongside honey butter that’s a perfect match, a crisp Harvest-Inspired Garden Salad with a mild vinaigrette, and fresh celery and carrots with ranch. While simple, the veggies are a refreshing start to balance the heartier main course ahead.
Speaking of the main course, it’s all served in one giant skillet and is endlessly refillable, so don’t be shy about asking for seconds! The chimichurri steak is the star, with a garlicky, herbaceous kick that might just have you begging for extra. The turkey and gravy are classic comfort food, and the mashed potatoes are buttery and smooth with just enough chunkiness to keep them interesting. Even the green beans get a shoutout. They’re bright, buttery, and cooked to perfection.
Oh, and don’t skip the mac and cheese. It’s creamy, cheesy, and topped with Goldfish crackers for a playful crunch (courtesy of Chip and Dale, of course).
Make sure to finish it all off with a melt-in-your-mouth apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream.
The whole meal feels indulgent without being overly heavy, leaving plenty of room for dessert and whatever snacks EPCOT has waiting for you.
Regal Eagle – Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich
Barbecue lovers, rejoice! The Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich at Regal Eagle in EPCOT’s American Adventure pavilion is a smoky, savory delight. The brisket is perfectly cooked – tender, flavorful, and moist – with just the right amount of smoky richness.
What really sets this sandwich apart is the garlic toast it’s served on. The buttery, soft bread adds a hint of saltiness that balances beautifully with the sweet, smoky brisket. It’s a simple dish with layers of flavor that make it one of our go-to meals when we’re craving barbecue. Pair it with a side like mac and cheese for the ultimate comfort food combo.
Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Brown Derby – Famous Cobb Salad
This iconic dish from the Hollywood Brown Derby is a must-try. It’s fresh, flavorful, and packed with a mix of finely chopped greens, eggs, bacon, avocado, and turkey. We love this salad because it’s a classic and it has yet to disappoint us or leave us wanting more. It’s fresh and each bite treats you to a variety of flavors.
It’s perfect for when you want something lighter but still full of flavor, and don’t forget to grab a grapefruit cake for dessert!
Woody’s Lunch Box – Totchos
“Totchos” which are Disney’s creative take on nachos, combine crispy tater tots with chili, queso, sour cream, corn chips, and green onions. This fun and filling dish from Toy Story Land is a fan favorite for good reason.
The flavors in this always work well together. The corn chips add a nice crunchy texture, and the cheese and sour cream combine to make everything creamy and delicious. Honestly, whether you’re on the go or taking a break in Andy’s backyard, grabbing some Totchos is always a good idea.
Animal Kingdom
Yak & Yeti Restaurant – Ahi Tuna Nachos
Over in Asia, Yak & Yeti’s Ahi Tuna Nachos are a game-changer. Think crispy wonton chips piled high with sushi-grade tuna, wasabi aioli, and a drizzle of sweet soy glaze. It’s an explosion of flavor that’s as refreshing as it is satisfying. (The spice level is a bit higher than Disney’s usual, so be ready for some heat!)
And let’s talk about the portion size. It’s massive, making this dish perfect for sharing (or keeping all to yourself). If you’re a fan of raw tuna and bold flavors, these nachos are a must-try. Just be warned: after these, regular tortilla chips might never cut it again.
Satu’li Canteen – Cheeseburger Pods or Chimichurri-Braised Beef Bowls
Pandora’s Satu’li Canteen knows how to bring the wow factor. The Cheeseburger Pods (aka bao buns) are savory, fluffy pockets of burger goodness, that are filled with a cheeseburger-inspired mixture of ground beef, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and cheddar cheese, then served with crunchy vegetable slaw and vegetable chips,…
…and the chimichurri-braised beef bowls feature tender beef with a smoky flavor reminiscent of a cross between jerky and brisket, brightened up by a flavorful chimichurri sauce. Served with crunchy vegetable slaw and boba pearls, it’s a unique, texture-filled meal that offers something truly different from your average theme park fare.
Either way you slice it, you’re winning.
Flame Tree Barbecue – Pulled Pork Fries
Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom knows how to do comfort food right, and their Pulled Pork Fries are the ultimate indulgence. This dish piles warm, lightly salted Disney fries high with tender pulled pork, gooey melted cheese sauce, and a drizzle of tangy barbecue sauce.
It’s simple, satisfying, and loaded with flavor – the perfect combination of cheesy, smoky, and tangy goodness. Don’t let the “snack” label fool you—this dish is hearty enough to stand alone as a meal. Whether you’re sharing with a friend or devouring it solo, these pulled pork fries are a must-try for barbecue lovers and anyone looking for a delicious, filling treat.
Some of the Best from the Resort Restaurants
Boma – Bobotie
Located at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boma’s buffet features an incredible selection of African-inspired dishes, but the bobotie is a standout.
This South African spiced meat casserole is savory, sweet, and perfectly seasoned. Whatever you decide to pair it with will be a great experience.
Sanaa – Bread Service and Everything Else
At Sanaa (also at Animal Kingdom Lodge), the bread service is legendary. Five types of naan paired with nine unique accompaniments, including mango chutney and red pepper hummus? Yes, please!
While you’re there, don’t miss the samosas, butter chicken, braised beef, the seafood curry, any of the desserts – basically, the whole menu is a win.
Steakhouse 71 – Stack Burger
Magic Kingdom’s Contemporary Resort is home to this sleek steakhouse, and their Stack Burger is worth every bite.
Featuring two perfectly cooked patties, caramelized onions, and tangy pickles on a brioche bun, it’s an elevated classic done right.
Whispering Canyon – Burnt Ends Nachos
If you’re staying at Wilderness Lodge (or just visiting), Whispering Canyon’s Burnt Ends Nachos are a must-try.
Tender, smoky burnt ends piled high on crispy tortilla chips with all the fixings make this dish an unforgettable snack or meal.
Topolino’s Terrace – Wood-Fired Steak and Eggs
If you get the chance, you really need to start your day at Disney’s Riviera Resort with the Wood-Fired Steak and Eggs at Topolino’s Terrace.
Just imagine juicy steak, perfectly cooked eggs, and a side of potatoes make this breakfast an elevated, hearty treat.
Plus, you can’t beat the rooftop views!
Banana Cabana – Bread Pudding
Over at Caribbean Beach Resort, Banana Cabana serves up what might just be the best dessert in all of Walt Disney World—the Pineapple-Coconut Bread Pudding. This warm, tropical-inspired treat is made with tender, coconut-flavored bread pudding studded with juicy pineapple pieces and topped with a creamy caramel sauce. It’s served with a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream that slowly melts into a luscious, sweet sauce.
The portion is generous and easily shareable between two people, though you may find yourself not wanting to share once you take that first bite. This dessert is the ultimate tropical indulgence, perfect for capping off your meal or simply treating yourself to something unforgettable.
