Who doesn’t love saving big on Disney souvenirs?
We certainly get a thrill every time we do it, but in the parks, those deals are hard to find. You’re much more likely to find Disney items for cheaper online before or after your trip, and we’d like to say we’re masters at finding some of the best deals online for you to browse. If you’re ballin’ on a budget and need some ideas that are under $10, don’t fret — we got you!
What is going on with the theme park that previous Disney Imagineers are building?
We have been keeping an eye out for any updates about American Heartland, a theme park being built in Oklahoma. This new theme park, which has a team of former Disney Imagineers working on it, has been dubbed the Disneyland of Oklahoma. It is set to cost around $2 billion and will span 1,000 acres, including a 125-acre theme park, a water park, a large RV park with cabins, a dinner theatre, an amphitheater, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse. The park was expected to open in 2026, but it seems that the opening date will be pushed back.
2024 has been FULL of huge Disney announcements.
Back in August, Disney announced new lands, attractions, and entertainment headed to the theme parks, new ships coming to the Disney Cruise Line, new movies and shows we’ll be able to see in theaters and on Disney+, and so much more! We’ve recently learned that Bob Iger’s successor will now be announced in 2026 and that Lightning Lane Premier Pass is coming to Disneyland and Disney World. But soon, we’re expecting even more news to drop from the Walt Disney Company.
The holidays are quickly approaching Disney World and we’ve got some HUGE news to share!
We’ve got an exciting update to share about one of the most popular experiences happening during EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays! While we already were beaming with excitement from learning who we could expect to narrate during this year’s lineup, we knew we still had a little bit to wait before we could book those super popular dining packages. But now, that day is finally HERE! [Read more…]
Are you planning an upcoming trip to Disney World?
The planning process involves so much, like booking travel, purchasing park tickets, and finding a hotel that is the right fit for you and your party. It is no secret that prices on select food items and even annual passes have gone up at Disney World. While these price increases are not ideal, if you are looking to save a little extra cash for your next hotel stay, we have some good news for you!
Send off 2024 with a bang!
Believe it or not, 2025 is almost here, and Disney World is getting ready to ring in the new year. As we detailed earlier this month, demand is high for New Year’s Eve at the resort, as reservations are already sold out for the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Now Disney has released details on what guests can expect at the end of the year.
Have you ever visited Disney World’s tiny train town?
As the self-proclaimed mayor of the little village in EPCOT, I spend quite a bit of time there, and I’m here to tell you that those tiny residents are UNRULY. In the past few months, I’ve seen them get into all kinds of mischief and nonsense, and they don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon! Let’s dive in and see what they were up to during my last visit.
There are SO many great places to grab a snack when you’re visiting Disney Springs.
There’s the ever-popular Gideon’s Bakehouse, the delicious Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, and of course, the incredibly inventive Salt & Straw. If you want Dole Whip, you could hit Swirls on the Water, or if you’re in the mood for cookies without the wait, the Cookie Bar at Summer House on the Lake is a great option. But right now, one Disney Springs snack spot is temporarily closed!
We’ve been eating our way through Disney World and this time we’re making our way to Hollywood Studios to enjoy a nice lunch!
With so many options available at Hollywood Studios, we decided to head over to a true classic: Rosie’s All-American Cafe to ask the question, does this popular quick service still hold up?
