As expected after the date-based ticket price increases, Disney World Annual Pass pricing also went up today.
Review! We’re LOVING The New Additions to Disneyland’s Golden Horseshoe!
We’re suckers for original Disneyland locales, and The Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland is one of those that totally steals our hearts. A mainstay of the park since day one, there’s plenty of lore about this now-quick service spot, including the presence of Walt’s personal box — at the right-most corner of the restaurant’s balcony — which is now open to the public.
Sneak PREVIEW! Must-Eats (And FRIED FUNFETTI OREOS!) at the 2018 Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic
The 2018 Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic will take place on Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27, 2018.
And this event — which will mark its 9th anniversary this year — is one of my absolute annual favorites!
This two-night fall event coincides with the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival and includes The Causeway (which features more than 90 food and beverage stations with dishes from the resort’s 17 restaurants and lounges as well as more than 30 wineries) and four special food areas — Carnival Corner, Beer Garden, Chinatown, and NEW for 2018, The Pig & Poke — along with Educational Seminars.
And this week, we attended a Preview Event to see what’s in store, and let you know what you’ve just GOT to eat on the Causeway this year at the Classic!

YOUR Questions About Disney’s New Date-Based Ticket System ANSWERED!
As we know, Disney World is switching on October 16th, 2018, to a date-based ticketing system for its theme parks. This means that when you purchase tickets for Disney World, each day will have its own individual price based on multiple factors, versus every ticket costing the same amount.
The new system will:
- Assign each individual calendar day a specific ticket price (each day will reflect a different price based on various factors like crowd levels)
- Use an interactive calendar for ticket purchasing, and to show guests the highest and lowest ticket prices within a given month or year
- Offer guests the option to upgrade to a ticket with a “flexible start date” for an added cost.
Since this news came out on Monday
, we’ve gotten plenty of great questions from our readers and social media followers about the system. And while we don’t have ALL the answers, we can at least help with a few of these!
