The Disney Dining Plan will return, hotel guests will continue to have extra park hours, and Genie+ is getting simplified for a more streamlined experience. Next year is already shaping up to be pretty exciting for Disney World, and you’ll soon be able to start your trip planning!

There are plenty of conveniences you get by staying at them — free transportation, extra magic hours, and earlier access to Advanced Dining Reservations to name a few. But, now and then, Disney Resorts can create a bit of a headache. They have to undergo maintenance, just like any other hotel, and unfortunately, that can negatively affect your trip if you’re not prepared for it.

But one of our favorite spots to stop for a sweet treat in EPCOT is a little place where the smell of caramel popcorn draws us in every time — Karamell-Küche. From fresh popcorn to caramel treats, this location is a goldmine for delicious snacks. But today, we have some bad news AND good news about the menu there!

Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, Dole Whips, Churros — we could spend all day talking about the tasty treats you can find in the parks (we ARE the Disney Food Blog, after all). However, some of Disney’s iconic snacks are pretty divisive. Enter the Turkey Leg. Listen, not everyone loves this hunk of meat — but it still deserves a spot in Disney’s most popular food lineup. It has a LOT of fans. And now, it has a brand new makeover. There’s a new twist on this classic snack in Disney’s California Adventure (DCA), so we had to give it a try.

Okay, we know Disney World’s 50th anniversary has come and gone (although the decorations have been taking their own sweet time coming down). But, one 50th anniversary snack was a DFB favorite, and we were thrilled to still be able to order it after all the festivities had ended. Unfortunately, that won’t last forever — we recently got word that this beloved treat would be leaving the menu SOON.

Rosa Mexicano opened recently near EPCOT, Frontera Cocina is a fun choice if you’re headed to Disney Springs, and there’s a whole Mexico pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase. But, there’s another Mexican restaurant in Disney World that you might not have ever heard of before. In Disney’s Coronado Resort, Maya Grill offers a “Nuevo Latino” dinner. They recently got a whole new menu, and we checked it out — come see how it went!
