Since it was first announced, we’ve been SO excited for the chance to have our first meal at Space 220! But as much as we’re looking forward to our chance to dine in space…we’re also getting more and more worried about the restaurant’s timeline.

When we first found out that Disney World was closing its gates, we wondered if Disney would use the time to make some serious progress on all of those projects. But we soon learned that wouldn’t be happening. Based on government recommendations, Disney decided to halt all construction projects.

Disney World Dining and Hotel Reservations Currently Available Only “For June 1 And Later”

On March 27th, Disney World announced that the parks would remain closed “until further notice.”

While we don’t have any official word from Disney on a projected reopening date for the parks, we did notice something interesting on the reservations site. This might give us a clue about Disney’s current thinking on the timeline for reopening.

News! Disney Vacation Club Properties Have Extended Their Closures

Both Disneyland and Disney World recently announced that they will remain closed “until further notice.” Now, more Disney properties are following suit.

Since all of the Disney parks around the globe are currently closed, we weren’t surprised to see other Disney properties taking similar action. Disney Vacation Club properties are now facing an extended closure as well.

How to Cancel Your Disneyland Resort Hotel Reservation Online

On March 27, Disney officials announced that Disneyland Resort will remain closed until “further notice.”
