Expedition Everest is closed right now.
While we’re quite sad to see some of our favorite rides close, we’re super excited when they finally come back! Rides close all the time so that Disney can make sure they’re in the best possible shape for guests. A popular ride in Disney’s Animal Kingdom shut down in January, and we saw a couple of test rides with no guests back in February, but it’s FINALLY back!
Traditional meet and greets are coming back to Disney World!Â

After two years of social distanced character interactions, we’re only a few days away from hugging our favorite Disney characters again! We’re on the hunt for all of the character experiences that Disney World has to offer. We just spotted this SUPER fluffy character meet and greet that’s coming back to Hollywood Studios soon!Â

There are tons of 50th Anniversary offerings in the parks right now, especially when it comes to merchandise! We’ve seen all kinds of 50th Anniversary collections in the parks, from shoes to bags and FREE souvenirs. One of the most unique collections has been the Vault Collection, which is inspired by Disney World’s opening day in the 70’s! We spotted a super cool 50th Anniversary Vault collectible in Magic Kingdom recently that fans of the olden days of Disney World HAVE to see!Â

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is just weeks away from making its Disney World debut. The ride will open on May 27th, 2022, and we’re already starting to see some previews of what it will look like. We’ve gotten a look at the inside of the queue, the Cast Member costumes, and more! And now, we just learned some HUGE details about the story of the attraction.
If you ask us, coffee is a very important part of Disney World.
New cup alert!
We seriously need a caffeine boost during our Disney Parks days, and Joffrey’s doesn’t tend to disappoint. They’ve got some great coffee we’ve tried in the parks like this game changing drink, and Princess coffee! If you can’t make it to the parks and still need your Joffrey’s fill, there’s somewhere else you can go.
It’s hard not to become obsessed with Disney’s monthly merchandise collections!
Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction
From the Stitch Crashes Disney collection to Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction, we’re always bringing you the freshest Disney merchandise updates. Currently, Disney is releasing the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction Series. These collections feature Mickey merch inspired by iconic Disney Parks rides! We’ve seen the first installment of the collection in the parks, and it just landed online!
Disney World’s 50th Anniversary has been filled with new attractions, restaurants, rides, merchandise, and more. But the celebrations aren’t done yet!
Fireworks
Disney World already has some pretty cool after-hours events that let you experience the parks in a totally unique way. We’ve seen the return of an exclusive DVC after-hours event, and Typhoon Lagoon recently announced dates and registration for their after-hours event. Now, Disney has announced a new event for the 50th Anniversary that’s exclusively for a very well-deserving group of people!Â
If you ask us, spring is pretty much unofficial brunch season! And we’ve got some GREAT news for all the brunch lovers out there (it’s us — we’re the brunch lovers).
Mickey Waffles
We love a good brunch, and while we don’t think you need a special occasion for it, we appreciate a celebratory meal as much as the next guy. Disney World is pulling out all of the stops for Easter this year, but we can’t forget that Mother’s Day is also right around the corner! If you’re looking to celebrate either of these holidays with some tasty brunch, then we have the Disney Springs spot for you!
