It’s a night of glitz, glam, and festivities! We’re at the very first party night of this new event! And we’re ready to bring you all the live updates and the ins and outs of this party. And that includes your transportation to and from the park. And now we have some news that could potentially foil your plans, so be prepared for this!
The Disney World gingerbread displays are an iconic part of the holiday celebration at the resort.
2023 Grand Floridian Gingerbread House
All around the property at several hotels, you can find life-sized gingerbread displays. From the most iconic display– the gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian –to the baby giraffe and baby zebra at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, there’s so much to see! These displays add a warm, cozy, Christmas ambiance to each location they’re in. This year, an all-new gingerbread display will be joining the group and construction has started!
We’re snacking on cookies and drinking all the hot cocoa we can get our hands on!

But we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves too much. As many people like to remember, there is still another holiday BEFORE Christmas (even if we just want to put up our trees and sing carols). Thanksgiving is celebrated in America in November, and while it’s not as big of a celebration as the other winter holidays, many do partake in turkey day.
