Happy Presidents’ Day Weekend!
While you are enjoying the long weekend, you deserve to treat yourself to some online shopping! Here is a look at some of the biggest sales going on online right now!
Greetings from Louisiana!
And by Louisiana, we mean Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter and Riverside Resorts! These two resorts are part of Disney’s Moderate tier resorts, which land right in the middle between Value and Deluxe. Both resorts offer great perks to guests, including free transportation, a complimentary water park visit on the day of check-in, Early Theme Park Entry, and advance Lightning Lane booking!
While we love both of these resorts, they are not perfect, as these six unfortunate things happen every time we stay there.
There are different ways that you can make your time waiting for Disney World rides and attractions a bit shorter.
The most obvious one is purchasing Lighting Lane Multi, Single, or Premier Pass. You can also wait in the single rider line if a ride offers it. Well, a new way to “skip” the line at Disney World just debuted, and then was quietly removed just weeks later.
More permanent closures are looming in Disney World.
So far, the first closure phase of DinoLand U.S.A., has already taken place in January of this year. In March, It’s Tough to Be Bug! will close its doors to be re-themed to a Zootopia show opening this Winter. Starting in May and going into June, Muppets Courtyard will undergo a phased permanent closure.
While a closing date has yet to be announced, multiple attractions in Magic Kingdom will have to close to make way for the new Cars expansion.
Finding the perfect spot to watch Magic Kingdom’s nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After, is like an art.
The Disney Food Blog team is full of former Cast Members, and we are sharing our best tips and secrets to secure a spot to watch Happily Ever After! The best part? You won’t have to stress about reserving your spot on Main Street or in front of the castle hours before showtime.
If you have a Costco membership, you are going to want to hear about this deal!
While Costco is known for having deals on bulk items and gift cards, you can book vacation packages through Costco! There are deals on Disney Cruise Line and even rental car prices. Well, if you are looking to visit Universal Studios Hollywood, you are going to want to keep reading!
We go to Disney World every day, and since we are there so often, we have seen and heard some pretty unhinged things.
So, of course, we wanted to share the four of the unhinged things we have heard and seen when we visited the parks to give you a good laugh!
One of the best parts of sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line is that almost everything is included!
You can take advantage of all the unlimited food, including sodas and ice cream! You can enjoy Broadway-style entertainment and first-run Disney films (sometimes before they are even in theaters!), meet Disney characters, and so much more! Although there are fees for alcohol, spa services, and a few other add-ons, there is one fee that people hate paying aboard Disney Cruise Line.
A new class action lawsuit has been filed against the Walt Disney Company.
Disney’s Disability Access Service, better known as DAS, has received controversial updates in recent years. Disney’s changes have made the service even more limited, which has caused many people to be dissatisfied with Disney’s accommodations for those with disabilities. Now, a new class action has been filed against both the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and Inspire Health Alliance in the state of California due to the changes that were made to DAS at both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort.
Boo to you!
It may only be February, but Disney likes to celebrate the holidays early! In just about six months, Halloween decorations will start to pop up in Magic Kingdom as it prepares for the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season. Although tickets and dates have not been announced for the 2025 Halloween party season, Disney is currently preparing for the Halloween season, and you could have the opportunity to be part of a fan-favorite parade!
