The shopping and dining district has been closed since March, but CityWalk at Universal Orlando is opening today with limited hours, limited offerings, and new health and safety measures in place. Follow along with us as we take you step-by-step through the new guest experience.
Disney World recently announced they would begin a phased reopening of select stores and restaurants in Disney Springs on May 20th. As we learn more about what offerings will be available to guests, we’re also starting to learn more about the health measurements that will be in place.
So far, Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company, The Polite Pig, YeSake, Wine Bar George, and others plan to re-open May 20th, but we just found out about another restaurant to add to our master list.
Recently, Disneyland and Disney World shared that they would not be accepting new bookings until July. Since then, Disney World’s Senior VP has clarified that reservation availability does not indicate park reopening.
And while we recently reported guests with Disney World and Disneyland Resort with hotel reservations through the end of May were being notified that their bookings had been canceled, now Disney is reaching out to notify guests that their early June reservations are being canceled as well. Disney Springs is gearing up for a phased re-opening beginning May 20th.
Although Disney-owned stores and restaurants do not plan to open until the following week, several locations will be opening on May 20th —Â followed by others on May 22nd. But now, there is one more restaurant joining the list kicking off the grand re-opening.
The competition is fierce as Disney attractions are going head to head in DFB’s Official Rides and Attractions THROW DOWN.
