IT’S ALMOST TIME!
Now that spring is here, we’re looking ahead to SUMMER, when vacation season is in full swing. Plus, we have some extra exciting things happening this summer — with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening! We don’t currently have an exact opening date, but we constantly have our eyes peeled for news on that. On the other hand, we have gotten all sorts of news on the attraction — especially this week. Let’s check it out, shall we?

I’m here to chat about the Disney College Program!
I participated in the Disney College Program in the fall of 2022, and was lucky enough to be a placed at the Haunted Mansion. I was SUPER fortunate to end up with such a cool role (they’re all random), but I still dealt with the same hardships that any College Program participant (CP) had to deal with. I’m here to shed light on some of the hard truths of the Disney College Program that I simply didn’t expect.
Who else LOVED keeping up with the Russos as a kid? We sure did!

Wizards of Waverly Place was available to watch on Disney Channel from 2007 to 2012, and a lot of us were pretty bummed when the show was canceled. So, imagine how STOKED we all were when a REBOOT was announced! The fan-favorite family comedy starred Selena Gomez as Alex Russo, who navigated her teenage life as a wizard while surrounded by her normal friends, classmates, and teachers. Of course, her family members were also wizards, including her older brother Justin, played by David Henrie. Henrie was the one to announce the reboot, sharing a photo on social media of the script cover. Now, we have another update!
Universal Studios is KNOWN to be super cryptic in their announcements.
Universal Orlando
On March 25th, Universal shared a post on X that made us think that new details about EPIC Universe would arrive on March 28th. Since the background of the video matched the background in the EPIC Universe logo and the shooting star is next to 3.28.24, we were wondering if this was a hint that BIG news regarding the park would come out way soon. Now, we know that our hunch was correct!

We know we are! Recently, there have been all sorts of updates regarding the attraction. We saw some construction walls come down, learned about the stores coming to the Disneyland attraction, and now, we’ve got an exciting NEW update regarding some characters/animatronics.

Magic Kingdom on March 25th
With spring time typically comes denser crowds as the weather is pleasant and a lot of folks around the country are on spring break. On March 25th, we saw intense crowds at Magic Kingdom with sold out park reservations, Genie+, and Lightning Lane options (we’ll chat more about those in a sec) as well as THICK crowds. 😬 Before heading into the parks on March 26th, we didn’t feel that it would be much better.

Disney is making this year’s D23 Expo the biggest one yet, and we’re hoping that means lots of exciting announcements. We’ll get to hear from Disney executives like Josh D’Amaro (Chairman of Disney Experiences) and CEO Bob Iger, who will talk about recent changes and upcoming projects. Plus, this year’s event will be split into two separate locations: the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center. Because of this, ticket pricing looks a bit different this year, with some tickets as much as $999 per person. Is it worth the splurge? Let’s talk about it!

Spring is when we typically see an influx of crowds in the parks, as folks across the country are on spring break and the weather is pleasant most days. Crowds have been surprisingly low lately, but that seems to be turning itself around. 😬 Come along with us as we check out the CROWDS at Disney World!
Is it just me, or is planning and booking flights one of the most STRESSFUL parts of any vacation?

The stress starts long before you actually head to the airport, as you’ll need to scope out the best dates to fly and pay for said flights in advance. Speaking of paying for flights…that can truly be the worst part! The good news is that airfare seems to be getting cheaper, and one news outlet has an idea why. They also think that flights could continue to get cheaper. Let’s talk about it!
It’s almost April, which means that a lot of you are about to be heading to Disneyland to celebrate STAR WARS!
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland
Season of the Force kicks off at Disneyland on April 5th and will continue throughout June 2nd, 2024. Throughout the celebration, you’ll be able to experience a lot of themed festivities, try some special snacks, and even grab a few cool souvenirs.
