Some of our favorite things have returned to Disney World this week, and we’re looking forward to more changes coming in the near future! Today, we’re here to outline each of these things for you so that you can share this excitement with us. If you’re hoping to be put in a very good mood, just keep on reading.
Visiting Disney World can be daunting, especially if you or someone you love is living with a disability.
Cinderella Castle
Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed to accommodate guests and their families who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment due to a disability. The service allows you to schedule a return time that is comparable to the current queue wait for the given attraction. It does not provide immediate attraction access. Disney announced on April 9th that the DAS system would undergo some important changes, and we’re here to break those down for you.
If you’re a Disney fan, then there’s a good chance you’ve heard about the new restaurants coming soon to the Downtown Disney District in Disneyland.
Paseo and Centrico Construction
Paseo, Centrico, and Tiendita are all coming soon to the District to serve up some Mexican Cuisine. Further, Din Tai Fung is a Michelin-awarded restaurant from Taiwan that’s also opening. Today, we got a brand new look at the eateries and believe us when we say that we absolutely cannot WAIT for them to open. Check it out!
Okay, who else LOVES going to concerts and other live performances?
Berlin at Garden Rocks
We know we do! One of our favorite places to catch some of our favorite artists’ performances is House of Blues in Disney Springs. Here, you can catch some great music as well as some drinks and small bites. A popular singer will be performing there SOON, and we just have to tell you about it!
As a runDisney fanatic, I’m super glad that the Disney World races are seeming to increase in popularity.

After all, who doesn’t want to galavant through empty Disney parks in a fun costume while also meeting tons of RARE Disney characters? And THEN you get to wear an adorable medal around the parks! It’s super fun, and I’m happy that the events are starting to get the attention they deserve. However, there IS a downside to this increase in popularity.
