Yeah, that may sound like we’re being a bit premature, but when you spend a large portion of your time in Disney World, then you get used to it being all “BAM! November 1st — CHRISTMAS!” And if you’re heading to Disney World for the holidays this year, you’re probably looking to check out ALL the special offerings. That’s why we’ve rounded up a list of all the ride and attraction overlays that have been announced!

There are several Marvel films on the schedule for the future, along with a variety of Star Wars series, not to mention the Disney and Pixar projects on the horizon. But one of the upcoming series for Disney+ revisits an old fan-favorite character…and there’s some controversy bubbling up.
Magic Kingdom is FULL of excellent live entertainment.
Cinderella Castle
In that park alone, you can catch the Dapper Dans singing on Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire on the castle stage, and the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade rolling down the streets in the evening. However, perhaps the most popular offering is the Festival of Fantasy Parade which runs through the park.
EPCOT has seen some major changes in the past few years, and even more are on the way!

The park is undergoing a massive transformation that’s set to be complete later this year, but already in 2023 there have been some new additions. The Figment meet and greet opened up, along with a few updated snack stands. But one big thing that came to EPCOT this year? A brand-new restaurant!

Spread across dozens of stores in the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, there are probably thousands of items that you can peruse and purchase. With so many options it’s hard to choose! But besides the plethora of souvenirs available now, there are some things that Disney no longer sells.
If you’ve been following Disneyland Resort news for the past few years, then you may have heard about the proposed expansion to the parks.
Sleeping Beauty Castle
Unlike Disney World, the Disneyland Resort parks are landlocked in the middle of a city, with not a lot of room for growth and expansion due to surrounding businesses and hotels. However, in 2021, Disney proposed a project called DisneylandForward, which would allow the resort to fill in some unused space on the property to add more attractions and offerings to the theme parks. Progress on getting this plan approved has been slow, but now we have an update.
Things have been CHANGING with characters in Disney World!
Mirabel in Fairytale Garden
Just in the past several days, we’ve seen multiple character updates in Magic Kingdom. The Mirabel meet and greet officially opened in Fairytale Garden, and Bruno from Encanto joined the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade. But on top of that, one little-known meet and greet moved across the park!

There are quite a few special offerings available currently and coming soon for you, starting with the Annual Passholder shopping event at ESPN Wide World of Sports and the new Passholder-exclusive snacks in EPCOT. The 50th Anniversary merchandise hasn’t disappeared overnight from the parks, and there are still a few items scattered throughout the gift shops. Some of the more popular snacks from the celebration have remained on menus in the parks, just renamed. But there’s one very obvious anniversary offering that’s still available…and now we know why!
