food IS a theme park
Hello, everyone! We’ve been walking around Disney Springs to see if anything new has popped up since our last visit.
Join us as we bring you the latest updates for food, merchandise, and MORE!
Some of us are old enough to remember when Disney didn’t own Star Wars, but we have to admit it’s fun seeing Star Wars all over Disney World now, and we LOVE the attractions in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
Of course, there’s no shortage of Star Wars merch in the parks, too! And we just found a pair of lounge shorts that will bring the Force to the lower half of your body!
Toy Story has such a special place in our hearts, and we love seeing it on new merch at Disney World! We went nuts over the Toy Story Pizza Planet gear and LOVED the interactive TALKING Toy Story dolls we recently discovered!
We also love riding Toy Story Mania in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and then checking out the shop there at the end of the ride for MORE Toy Story stuff! We recently found some SUPER cute stuff there for kids!
We’re big fans of “man’s best friend,” here at DFB, especially if that friend is a Disney dog! From Pluto to Dug to Lady and the Tramp, Disney dogs are some of our favorite characters!
That’s why we got really excited when we caught wind of the Dooney and Bourke Disney Dogs collection earlier this year. We seriously just can’t with ALL the Disney dogs included in this line. We spot favorites like Dug, Pluto, and more, but the obscure doggers get a spotlight too! Nana, Zero, Frankenweenie (!!), and even the Footstool from Beauty and the Beast are there!! Even Stitch made the cut (well, he WAS pretending to be a dog!).
Disney World is always changing, evolving, and growing — even more so lately due to the global health crisis. Although we’ve seen some of our favorite attractions and entertainment returning, some are going away forever.
Live entertainment has also changed throughout the Disney World resort, and we recently learned we’ll soon have to say goodbye to Disney’s Grand Floridian Society Orchestra.
Disney World can be expensive — so we’re all about saving money whenever possible!
And we know we’re not the only one who enjoys a good deal. Which is why we’re excited to share discounts being offered at TWO popular restaurants in Disney Springs — Terralina Crafted Italian and Paddlefish!
Happy belated Birthday, EPCOT! In honor of the special day, we took a stroll around the park to see what was new!
Let’s check out all things new in food, construction, and merch!
The Polite Pig at Disney Springs might be known for its delicious barbecue dishes, but it’s also a great spot to grab some awesome boozy drinks!
Take it from us — we’ve tried a few of those drinks! From the Peach Bourbon Lemonade to the Florida Mango Frosé, we’ve enjoyed some impressive concoctions at The Polite Pig.
We always used to love stopping by the Lovepop Kiosk at Disney Springs to check out their AMAZING selection of 3-D greeting cards. So we got really excited when we found out that Lovepop was getting an actual store at Disney Springs!
We even followed the construction of the store as it was happening. But our wait is now over because the Lovepop store is NOW OPEN.
Being a member of D23 with different sorts of perks, including access to exclusive events and merch, as well as early access to Disney’s The Year of The Mouse limited edition Mickey Mouse plushes!
The Year of The Mouse promotion introduces a new Mickey plush every month, and October’s plush has us singing, “Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me?”
