The SHOW must go on!
Terrible changes are on the horizon for Disney World next year — but we’re gonna make sure your trip still happens without a hitch!
You’ve booked your flights and hotel, purchased your park tickets, made all your dining reservations, and now there’s just one thing left to do…
…decide which bag you’re going to take with you into the parks on your Disney World trip! We’ve seen our fair share of purses and backpacks around Disney World, which is why we’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest — and we just found some new ones that we think are perfect for the parks.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again — being a Disney Vacation Club Member comes with plenty of perks.
Of course, there’s the fact that you can go on a Disney World vacation at the drop of a hat, plus exclusive discounts, eats, and so much more. Oh yeah, and exclusive Disney Vacation Club lounges all around the parks and more! A newly refurbished DVC lounge has just reopened at EPCOT and we’re bringing you with us as we take a look around.
If there’s one thing we love about Disney World, it’s the FOOD! We are Disney Food Blog, after all.
So, when a Disney World restaurant adds something new to its menu, well, we make it our job to go try it out. We’re serious. That literally is our job. And we LOVE IT! Recently, a hidden Hollywood Studios restaurant debuted some new menu items so of course, we had to check it out.
Universal Orlando is making some serious changes!
Not only did they just open the brand new Dreamworks Land, but there’s a little tiny theme park called Epic Universe that’s opening in May 2025. Okay, we’re kidding — Epic Universe is going to be, well, EPIC! But it looks like Universal isn’t just focused on the new hotness, and instead is also giving some TLC to the old and busted.
Do you use MagicBands at Disney World?
In case you’re unfamiliar, a MagicBand or MagicBand+ is a wearable piece of tech that can function as your park ticket, hotel room key, payment method, and a whole lot more. MagicBands have been around for a while, but MagicBand+ — a souped-up version of the original — are newer and have features that can interact with park attractions. Disney just rolled out some new functions on MagicBand+, so you know we had to check them out!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Between Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights, and of course, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, there’s just so much to see and do! But, if you’re planning to visit the Festival of the Holidays this year, we’ve got some bad news to share with you.
Chances are, we’ve all been there. You’re bobbing along a Disney World dark ride, still dreaming about the hand-dipped corn dog you just demolished for lunch (or breakfast, I don’t judge) when out of nowhere — BAM!
An eerie face stares back at you from the darkness. You can’t quite put your finger on it, but something about this face just isn’t right. Sure, logically you know it’s just an animatronic robot designed by the best Imagineers around — yet you can’t shake the feeling that those eyes are staring directly into your soul. You aren’t alone in this feeling, either, because there are definitely some Disney World animatronics that I’m pretty sure are possessed.
If there’s one thing we’re passionate about here at DFB, it’s food. We are Disney Food Blog, after all!
That’s why we’re always on the lookout for the latest and greatest eats that pop up around the Disney World parks and more. A long-awaited addition to Disney’s BoardWalk finally opened not too long ago, and now we’re headed back to try something NEW they just added to their menu!
MagicBands have had their moment — or have they???
These little wearable pieces of tech can put all of Disney World at your fingertips. A MagicBand (or MagicBand+) can act as your park ticket, room key, credit card, Lightning Lane pass, and more. They’ve gone through a few updates here and there, and while the initial hype has died down, they’re still incredibly popular among fans — but not all of them.
