Disney Cruise Line has lofty plans to expand its fleet in a major way — plans that are already being put into action with the announcement of several new ships on the horizon. More and more people are planning Disney Cruises, and in an ever-changing industry, Disney has made an update to its gratuity pricing onboard its ships.
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter has been getting a bit of a refresh recently, and these changes have been a long time coming.

The room refurbishments currently going on at this hotel have been happening since May, and we’ve slowly seen the new rooms open back up to guests (you can check out a full room tour here!). But, just when we thought this project was close to being completed, Disney goes and delays the completion.

The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season has wreaked havoc, with Florida and many other areas still picking up the pieces from Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helene.

Disney World closed the theme parks, water parks, hotels, and more for the first time in years as Milton made its way over the Orlando area, but made it out with minimal damage. Now, another storm is barrelling through the Caribbean and we’re sharing the latest updates.
Since his surprise return in 2022, Disney CEO Bob Iger has faced several challenges from turning things around for the parks to finding a niche in the world of streaming and even going head-to-head with the Governor of Florida.

But, Iger has announced that he plans to step down in 2026, leaving us wondering just who will take his place. A succession search committee has been at work for a while now, and it sounds like we may be getting closer to having our answer.
