A Super Convenient PERK Is Coming to Magic Kingdom’s NEW Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Store!

Picture this: You just rode Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for the first time and you LOVED IT. So much, in fact, that you want to buy yourself a little souvenir to commemorate the occasion. You head into the new gift shop by the ride to check out all the themed merchandise, find the PERFECT item (maybe it’s that super cute Loungefly…or the firefly that lights up…or it could be the Tiana-themed Minnie ears), and then turn to find the register so you can check out, when all of a sudden you see it. The incredibly long check-out LINE. 😱

We’re expecting the new ride to be super popular, especially when it first opens, which means the accompanying gift shop will probably also be very crowded. Why Disney Adults Can’t Stay Away From Pop Century Hotel

There are a LOT of hotels in Disney World, and a whole bunch of those hotels are on my bucket list. I really want to stay at Disney’s Polynesian Beach Resort and get DOLE Whip whenever I want. I’ve visited Animal Kingdom Lodge more times than I can count (mostly for the incredible food), but I’ve only stayed there once and would LOVE to go back. And if someone offered me a free trip to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, I would definitely be over the moon.

But no matter how many hotels are on my bucket list, I ALWAYS find myself back at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and there are two very specific reasons WHY.

I’m currently planning a trip to Disney World with my mom, and DANG these prices really do just keep going up and up. Does anyone else remember the days when Mickey Ice Cream Bars were less than $3?

With little price increases happening all the time, it made me wonder what the BIG picture is. How MUCH have prices really gone up, and how much can we actually blame inflation for the changes?

As any self-respecting nerd would do, I pulled up a spreadsheet and started crunching the numbers. I used a whole bunch of awesome historical data from our friends over at AllEars.net and plugged tons of numbers into an inflation calculator. And Y’ALL.
