Just over two months ago, Ballast Point opened in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney, bringing craft beer — and an on-site brewery!! — to the entertainment district. And now this hot spot has a special bratwurst designed for Lager Madness! Lager Madness is a celebration of Ballast Point’s new “bright, refreshing” BP Lager, and guests partaking in this celebration will enjoy food specials and giveaways!

With news dropping that Walt Disney World’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be opening sooner than expected in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Parks fans were left wondering: How will the August 29th grand opening of Galaxy’s Edge impact Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival, which historically begins the last week of August?

Food and Wine typically opens in late-August, and crowds descend upon World Showcase immediately. In fact, opening weekend and closing weekend tend to be the busiest times for Food and Wine. With dates for Food and Wine still unannounced, it’s unclear whether the Festival will open before the gates of Black Spire Outpost in Galaxy’s Edge. Our preliminary research and hotel bookings indicate that Food and Wine will likely start no later than early September and may well begin even earlier (mid-August or the last week of August). This gelato shop always has a menu of awesome, ever-changing shakes, and now they’ve declared ownership of the Greatest Shake on Earth. 😉 This shake appears to be a nod to the live-action Dumbo that’s hitting screens next week, and you know we’re here for a treat with a movie tie-in!
