Editor’s Note: We’ve confirmed that all options — grab and go, the buffet, and the food truck options, are all considered to be quick service credits on the Disney Dining Plan.
Thanks to the huge brouhaha that it caused, most of us know that Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World is undergoing a massive renovation starting — well, now.
While the resort undergoes what is from all accounts going to be a gigantic, transformative makeover, dining options are obviously going to be impacted. In fact, Caribbean Beach Resort’s only bar, Banana Cabana, and its only sit-down restaurant, Shutters, are closing to make way for the overhaul.
Obviously, people still need to eat, though. So we’ve been monitoring the situation closely. As part of that, we’ve visited the resort a couple of times over the last two weeks to bring you descriptions and photos of everything, as the transitional plans shape up. [Read more…]

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
has an all-new musical show debuting on May 26 – The Music of Pixar Live! The nightly show will be performed in the Theater of the Stars and celebrates 20 years of Pixar films with music, characters, and a movie montage. Today Disney announced two new Music of Pixar Live Dining Packages!
The Music of Pixar Live Dining Packages allow guests to make a dining package reservation at a select restaurant and the package includes reserved seating for the show. [Read more…]

It’s time for breakfast in Disneyland — Rancho del Zocalo style!
This beautiful restaurant — and I mean seriously, it’s gorgeous — is situated in Frontierland, where all things rough and rowdy reign supreme. But step into this colorful corner, and you’re surrounded by cheerful warmth and bright colors. And let’s not forget the food!

Minnie Mouse has been hosting some pretty fun dinner parties at Hollywood and Vine Restaurant in Hollywood Studios for a while now.
Minnie’s Seasonal Dine kicked off in November of 2015. This Character Meal gives guests the chance to enjoy dinner — with themes changing according to the time of year — with Minnie, Mickey, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy.
And soon, there will be even more opportunities to join Minnie and the gang for some festive fun. Because, starting May 14, 2017, Minnie’s Seasonal Dine will be offered for lunch as well as dinner! (Advance Dining Reservations are anticipated to open February 1st for this experience).
Currently, lunch at Hollywood and Vine features Disney Junior Play ’n Dine with Disney Junior characters such as Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, and Handy Manny. [Read more…]
