It’s HALLOWEEN TIME!
And we’re so excited about this spook-tacular time of year that we wanted to offer you a little something extra — and it’s way more TREAT than trick! We’re having a big Halloween SALE at the DFB Store!
As we get closer to Halloween, the fall season is winding down and we’re preparing for the holidays…especially in Disney World!
This year, most of the celebrations kick off on November 12th, with the Disney Very Merriest After Hours starting a few days earlier on November 8th. There’s going to be so much to check out throughout the two months of the holiday season and we can’t wait to share it all — including a popular character meal that’s returning!
There are a LOT of restaurants in Disney World, many of which are table service restaurants where Advance Dining Reservations are suggested or essentially required.
You’ve already got some tough choices to make in terms of what reservations to try and grab. Will you try for a spot at the ever-popular Be Our Guest? Is the chance to dine INSIDE Cinderella Castle more important? Now, you’ve got another new spot to think about — Space 220. The ultimate reservation battle has commenced. Which of these spots is worth it (a.k.a. what spot should you try to get a reservation for first)? We’re breaking down what you need to know.
Character dining has been making a big return around the Disney Parks as of late, even if the experiences look a little (OK, a LOT) different!
While Disney World has seen quite a few locations bring back modified character dining, now select Disneyland restaurants are finally re-introducing it as well! We’ve already seen what Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast looks like at Storytellers Cafe, but now we’re checking out character dining at another neighboring Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel restaurant!
Happy Halloween! It may still be sweltering hot where you are, but Disney World is ready to whip out the ghosts, goblins, and pumpkin everything! Disney World is already decorated for the holiday and we’ve attended the first Disney After Hours Boo Bash. Spooky season has officially arrived!
With the change of the seasons can only mean one thing over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: the return of Minnie’s Halloween Dine at Hollywood & Vine!
Many restaurants around Disney World have been reopening recently!
Resort restaurants like Boma and Toledo have returned, as well places in the parks like Columbia Harbour House! We’ve been back to dine inside Cinderella Castle for dinner, since the restaurant reopened last year, and now, Disney has announced that breakfast is coming back to the castle, too! And, guess what? Reservations JUST opened up!
Hey Florida locals, Disney World Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club Members! This post is for you!
Okay, technically this post is for anyone who wants to learn more about the Tables In Wonderland membership card and how it helps you save moolah at lots of Disney dining locations.
Hollywood and Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a spot known for its great character dining experiences! Based on the real Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles, this restaurant features a buffet with plenty of delicious options.
Today, Hollywood and Vine is bringing back a fun seasonal tradition just in time for Halloween!
The FAB FIVE. All-you-care-to-enjoy EATS. Literally just steps away from the Magic Kingdom.
You guessed it… we’re talking about Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!
A visit to Chef Mickey’s is practically a rite of passage for first-time Disney World guests, and many families find themselves making a Disney vacation tradition out of it. But today, we’re not just talking about our latest visit to review breakfast or dinner at this Character Meal. Instead, we’re sharing YOUR stories at this super popular dining spot.
Because even with all the awesome ingredients in place for a practically perfect Character Meal, sometimes things aren’t so practically perfect at Chef Mickey’s. Our readers shared their experiences (and even some of their struggles or “Fails”) with us on Facebook so together we can help all of you considering your first — or next — meal at Chef Mickey’s.
So strap on your big chef’s hat and settle in, friends!
