Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom
After years of construction and weeks of previews that prooobably could have gone better, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is FINALLY open to the public! The highly-anticipated Magic Kingdom attraction opened on June 28th to massive virtual queue demand and a crowded park. Like any other major Disney World opening, Tiana’s is being accompanied by a new merchandise collection, and our focus today: SNACKS.
We have loved A LOT of things in Disney World that have suddenly disappeared.
Cinderella Castle
The Magical Express, FastPasses, and The Great Movie Ride are just a few of the popular things in Disney World that have left us too soon. We know that Disney World changes, and we have to accept that some of the best attractions, restaurants, shops, and accommodations won’t be around forever as they may eventually be revamped into something new or taken away completely. But there is one recent change that we CANNOT get over. Disney has “committed a crime” in Magic Kingdom, and we’re still in complete shock.
Any time there’s new food in Disney World, you can bet we’ll be there to try it out!
Maji Pool Bar
We’ve recently had a limited-time POG-flavored treat that we LOVED, some incredible Tiana’s Bayou Adventure-themed food (including BEIGNETS!) at Magic Kingdom, and a couple of brand-new Starbucks drinks that we got from Main Street Bakery. On a recent visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (one of our favorite hotels on property), we found a new grilled cheese sandwich that’s hiding in an obscure location. From Dole Whips to Mickey-shaped…well everything, Disney World food is such a key part of the whole experience. That being said, the other day while we were walking through the parks, we started noticing something we weren’t expecting. We’re surprised we didn’t pick up on it earlier, but it appears there’s a trend that’s changing how people eat in Disney World!

Animal Kingdom
I personally don’t believe that EPCOT or Magic Kingdom have the best snacks…I think it’s Animal Kingdom that takes home this trophy! I know it’s controversial, but with lots of little snack stands spread throughout the park that serve some really interesting and unique treats, I believe the youngest of the Disney World theme parks comes out on top. And recently, I went to a snack stand in Animal Kingdom to do a full review and test this theory!
The year has been flying by and we’ll be approaching the Halloween season in just a few months!
