Every once in a while, a cookie comes along that demands its own immediate news post, and this — this is one such cookie. It’s from Gideon’s Bakehouse Cookies, and it can only be found in one Disney World location: The Polite Pig.

What Specialty Drinks are Included on the Disney Dining Plan?
Editor’s Note: We’ll be updating this post regularly as we learn more about how specialty, non-alcoholic drinks are being classified at Walt Disney World. If you’ve had experience with the plan, please comment below so we can add it to the post! Thanks, Disney food friends!
When the 2018 Disney Dining Plan details were released last June, many guests were excited to discover that alcoholic drinks would be included. For those who like to try adult beverages at Walt Disney World, this was an immediate way to bump up the value of the Disney Dining Plan!
But what about those guests who choose not to drink alcohol or who are under 21 years old (but still required to pay the adult price)? How can they maximize the 2018 Disney Dining Plan by imbibing in “specialty beverages” promised by the new DDP?
Disney World’s Poutine Obsession: 15 Ways To Get Your French Fry Fix
So…a poutine cloud apparently burst over Orlando and now you can get varieties of this relatively obscure French Canadian pub grub delicacy pretty much everywhere in Disney World. There’s even a dining spot completely dedicated to poutine.
The dish traditionally consists of French fries covered in cheese curds and brown gravy, and Canadians will cheerfully tell you that NONE of the dishes below qualify. Yet they’re called Poutine on the menu, and since we love french fries with stuff piled on top of them, we’re happy to tally them up for you!
Oh, and here’s some real Canadian poutine for reference.
So here’s the Disney World Poutine Crawl!
Cheddar Cheese Poutine — Refreshment Port, Epcot
is the most recent addition to the poutine World and can be found at the Refreshment Port in Epcot.

Magic Kingdom Pecos Bill’s Guacamole Status Update
You know how some people say “If you don’t like the weather, wait a few minutes”? We feel like the Magic Kingdom is on a race to out-pace Mother Nature when it comes to making changes. Because even though we just brought you What’s New from the Magic Kingdom a few days ago, we have more to add!
First we’re moseying over to Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe where there are a couple of big menu changes to note. First, the Southwest Angus Burger is off the menu — following in the footsteps of the Taco Burger, which disappeared from the menu last month! The only remaining burger at Peco Bill’s is the Bacon Cheeseburger.
Best Eats for Kids at the 2018 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
The 2018 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is in full bloom through May 28 and it’s a perfect Festival for the whole family!
In addition to the beautiful flowers and Disney-themed topiaries all over the park, guests can also enjoy specialty tours, fun family activities, and the Garden Rocks Concert Series — complete with Dining Packages again.
But our favorite part of the Festival is the 15 Outdoor Kitchens – better known as Food Booths – serving up small plates and beverages with a focus on Spring flavors and garden-fresh ingredients.
Click Here to visit our 2018 Flower and Garden Festival Menu Page to see the full booth menus and pics of ALL THE FOOD at the Festival!

Another Change in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Snack Game: The Mint Julep Slushy!
For ages, the Mint Julep at Disneyland’s Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square has been something of a cult classic.
That said, even as a classic, it’s been through some changes. Just last summer, the classic bright green, uber minty version received a makeover into what it is now: a lemon-lime refresher with a more subtle mint flavor.
Now, you may be thinking: “Okay, fine. What does this have to do with Disney World, which is what I read about in the title?”
Well, let me tell you: Disney World’s Magic Kingdom now has its very own Mint Julep at long last, thanks to the arrival of the Mint Julep Lemonade Slushy on the menu at Casey’s Corner!
Casey’s has been one among a myriad of locations in Disney World that have sold the classic Lemonade Slushy for years. But now, Casey’s has stepped it up!
