When in EPCOT…
If EPCOT is known for anything, it’s known for its plethora of great food options. That’s one of the biggest draws to the park especially since you can chow down on cuisine from all over the world. Speaking of international cuisine, there’s this one restaurant in the World Showcase that seems to always have an EPIC line, but we’re here to beg you. Please, oh please, don’t skip this one. You need to wait this one out and we’ll tell you why!
We all know that dining in Disney World is unlike anywhere else!
I mean, you know how it goes. You’re strolling through the parks when suddenly you feel the hunger creeping in. And then (as if by magic) you find yourself already in line and paying for your Disney meal. It feels like nine times out of ten, the dining experience is fantastic, but we’re here to talk about that one time out of ten. You know, when you impulse eat at Disney World and know you’re probably going to regret it later. Well, we’ve been there and done that more times than we can count. So, let’s have a chat about a couple of those regrets and hopefully they’ll help you not go through the same experience!
As a reporter here at DFB, I’ve spent a LOT of time in Disney World restaurants.
Not only do I grab lunch at quick service restaurants frequently when I’m in the parks, but I’ve also done full reviews of dozens of quick service restaurants, snack stands, and table service restaurants for my job. In fact, by my tally, I’ve eaten at over 150 Disney World restaurants to date. And with all those meals in Disney World, I’ve developed some pretty strong opinions!
We’re looking forward to the coming week in Magic Kingdom!
One of Magic Kingdom’s most popular and iconic rides will FINALLY be reopening. Get ready for tons of puns, the back side of water, and loads of jungle animals on a cruise down the Nile and other famous rivers of the world. Other than this reopening, though, Disney World still has several closures. Take a peek at what will be closed during your vacation on the week of October 12th through October 19th.
You all know we LOVE our Disney Dole Whip treats.
The creamy, fruity ice cream dessert hits the spot on all our Disney trips. You can grab several varieties of the treat at multiple locations at the Disney parks. One of the most popular spots to pick up a Dole Whip snack in Disneyland is at The Tropical Hideaway, and now we have a fun announcement to share about this counter service location and a tasty pizza and pasta joint that will make your next trip a little easier!
This is your daily reminder not to take your favorite Disney World food and drinks for granted, as they could disappear at any moment!
Menu changes constantly happen at Disney World, forcing us to always expect the unexpected. Still, when we show up to our favorite restaurants, order what we usually get, and are told that item is no longer available, it’s hard not to feel a real and sudden sadness. That’s exactly what happened during a recent visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios where one of our favorite drinks is gone.
Hurricane Milton is making its way through the Gulf of Mexico and will soon make landfall in Florida.
A significant portion of the state is under a hurricane warning with many major theme parks expected to close ahead of the storm, which is currently a Category 4. Ahead of Hurricane Milton’s arrival, Disney Cruise Line has canceled an upcoming sailing.
It is hard to believe, but 2024 is almost over, which means it is already time to start thinking about Disney World vacation plans for 2025.
A trip to Disney World in 2025 may look completely different, as many parts of the parks will be under construction to make way for new and exciting projects like Villains Land, two new Cars-themed attractions, Pueblo Esperanza — the Tropical Americas-themed land, and so much more. Plus, a brand new hotel perk starts in 2025! When deciding to plan a vacation to Disney World, it is never really too early to start planning.
French fry and foodie fanatics are in for a real treat at Disney World very soon!
It’s our goal to try every Disney snack, pick up special recipes, and deliver you all kinds of foodie news, so you can bet we’re always monitoring Disney World’s ever-changing food offerings, such as new specialty fries. In fact, Disney World just announced TONS of new fries coming to the resort and we can’t wait to share all the details!
