It’s been a BIG week for Bluey fans!
The series continues to be popular thanks to the show’s characters, new “minisodes”, merchandise, and more. It was recently announced that a Bluey movie is in the works at Disney+, and it looks like that’s not the only new Bluey content we’ll be getting from Disney!
Another day, another Disney World snack review!
It’s no secret that Disney World is home to some seriously stellar eats and treats, and anytime we get the chance to try a new one, we jump at it! With the holiday season officially in full swing, we’ve been checking out all sorts of snacks around the parks and hotels. And now, we’re checking out a new dessert that’s popped up at a recently opened restaurant!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’ve heard of a little Australian Blue Heeler named Bluey who has taken the world by storm.
The series is incredibly popular globally thanks to the show’s characters, new “minisodes“, merchandise, and more. It was recently announced that a Bluey movie is in the works, and the show’s creator has shared his thoughts on it.
I don’t want to be mean. I don’t like being the Negative Nancy (sorry to the Nancys…nothing personal!). I want to give Disney a chance! But, at this point, I’ve given Disney about…20 chances. Enough is enough.
If you love a live-action remake, you might not like what I am going to say. My arguments are probably not any different than what people are saying in Disney’s comment section. But after the latest live-action Lilo & Stitch promotion came out online, I had to say something. Where do we draw the line?!
It’s hard to know what sort of weather you might be up against when you’re planning your Disney World vacation.
Florida’s weather can be unpredictable and you might find yourself experiencing severe weather depending on when you’ll be in the parks. And, for folks visiting Disney World today, December 19th, that’s exactly what they’re up against.
As people who go to Disney World a lot, we should be used to change by now. Things are always changing in the parks, and that’s how Walt wanted it. Yet, sometimes those changes just HURT.
For example, we’re still wrapping our head around losing Muppets Courtyard to make way for a new Monsters, Inc. land in Hollywood Studios, although the Muppets will be moving over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. We’re also feeling a little off about some of the other parks changes that will see beloved attractions disappear. When it comes to food, though, we’ve got a lot of changes we’re still salty about (the Sleepy Hollow Waffle situation, for example). Well, we’ve spotted another food change in Disney World and we’ve got questions.
Disneyland has a LOT going on right now.
Although Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has opened and the new Haunted Mansion queue is complete, there’s still a lot happening around the resort. In California Adventure, a new Coco ride and Avatar-themed land are on the way. The Red Car Trolley in that park will also be permanently closing soon to make way for an Avengers Campus expansion. In Downtown Disney, new restaurants and shops have recently opened, with more on the way. Well, now, a classic Disneyland attraction will be closing soon and you need to know about it.
We always have our sights set on the horizon and the next big event at Disney World!
While you can currently enjoy the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays until December 30th (which is just around the corner!), we are getting prepped and ready for the next festival coming up in 2025! The EPCOT Festival of the Arts is the first festival in EPCOT in 2025, beginning on January 17th and going through February 24th. This is a colorful festival with lots of art, including culinary art (our favorite kind), drawing, painting, singing, and dancing. Exclusive entertainment to this event is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, and today, December 18th marks an important date for those who hope to catch one of these performances!
Disney World’s NEW Island Tower at the Polynesian Village Resort hotel is officially OPEN!
As of December 17th, this hotel expansion is now welcoming guests so you know we had to be there to check it all out. The Island Tower is home to brand-new hotel rooms, a new pool and splash pad, gorgeous terrace gardens, and an all-new restaurant — Wailulu Bar & Grill. We had our sights set on this menu for a while, and now it’s time to finally dig in!
