What are you waiting for? Let’s take a trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
We’re in Disney World pretty much every day and we tend to notice tons of tiny (or big!) changes all the time, so today we’re here with all the news from Animal Kingdom!
Have you had the chance to check out Pandora: The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom?
This remarkable and truly immersive area of the park is themed after the James Cameron movie Avatar, and May 27th marks the land’s five-year anniversary of being open in Animal Kingdom. And now — thirteen years later — the world is finally getting an Avatar sequel. Disney just shared a brand-new teaser trailer for the film and we’re sharing the details!
After a preview this week, we’re getting super excited about the official opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT! But with a new ride opening soon, we’ve also been thinking about which rides and attractions are currently unavailable in the parks.
So we created a full list of what’s NOT going to be open in Disney World next week. From rides to shows to pools and more, check out everything that will be closed in the parks and hotels. [Read more…]
It’s an exciting time to be planning a Disney World trip!
With a NEW EPCOT ride opening right around the corner, a whole bunch of new Star Wars items to grab, and tons of new things coming to the parks, there is a lot to keep track of! But aside from planning snacks and merch budgets, you’ll have to plan for the park pass reservation system. The last thing you want is to miss out on reservations to your favorite park. Let’s check out this coming week’s Disney World park hours and reservations so you can know what to expect!
This has been a big week at Disney World.
Although the highlight was probably riding EPCOT’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, we’ve also had fun trying out some new snacks, including some fun Mother’s Day treats, as well as some May the 4th snacks. But we’ve also been keeping an eye on EVERYTHING happening at Disney World restaurants.
It’s a SUPER exciting time in Disney World right now!
This week, we celebrated May the 4th, found out a TON of news about EPCOT, and got to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind for the first time (spoiler alert: you might get motion sick). So much is happening, but Spring Break is mostly over now, so have the crowds died down? Let’s take a look at the average wait times from this week in Disney World!
Let’s be real here…one of the best parts of Disney World is the FOOD and Disney fans have OPINIONS!
Whether it’s your first time visiting Disney World or your 50th time, you’ve probably heard from all your best Disney friends (like us!) about what restaurants they LOVE and which ones they HATE. There are fan favorites like Le Cellier in EPCOT and Homecomin’ by Chef Art Smith in Disney Springs, and some more under-the-radar spots like Takumi-Tei or Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen. And, this year, when USA Today took to the masses to see which theme park restaurants are the best, TWO Disney World restaurants ranked in the top ten, but they’re likely NOT what you might expect!
You won’t BELIEVE the week we’ve had in Disney World!
This week was FULL of news, with some of the more unexpected news coming from new updates and developments for projects that were already in motion. Find out all about it here!
Though many things have returned to “normal” in Disney World, there are still some lingering health and safety measures in place at Disney World. And, while you may expect to need to wear a face mask in some locations (like First Aid) or miss out on some entertainment offerings that still aren’t back — one issue that you might not expect to face is finding merchandise.
We’ve seen supply chain issues impact MagicBands, runDisney events, lightsabers in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and more. Plus, even some food items like noodles and chicken fingers have been harder to come by. But, it seems that the problems aren’t over yet — and, if you’re headed to Disney World this summer there’s one item that fans rely on in the heat of the summer that might be hard to find.
Some rides at Disney World are notable not just for their thrills and theming, but for their agonizingly long lines!
Since most queues reach their peaks later in the morning or afternoon, these are the types of rides that you should be visiting FIRST thing in the morning!
