Will you be visiting Disneyland in 2024?
If so, in case you haven’t already heard, you’ll need to know that a fan-favorite Disney California Adventure attraction is temporarily CLOSED for refurbishment!
Disney has a LOT of big plans for the next decade or so.
The company is planning on spending a WHOPPING $60 billion to expand the Parks, Experiences, and Products segment of the company. Although some of that money will go towards expanding Disney Cruise Line and other products, a LOT of that will also go to expanding its theme parks, with many projects already underway. So if you can’t keep track of all of Disney’s CURRENT list of upcoming theme park expansion projects (because it’s a LOT), we’ve got you covered.
Not all advice is good advice when it comes to putting together the perfect Disney trip.
We’ve heard it all when it comes to the Disney Parks over the years. From great planning tips to general Disney hacks, the right advice can save a Disney vacation. With that said, some advice we’ve heard hasn’t aged gracefully.
The Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival is coming up soon!
This is THE food festival you’ll want to attend on the West Coast. The festival features food and beverage seminars and demonstrations, as well as special souvenirs, and — of course — loads of food booths. Well, there’s another super exciting thing coming to the festival in 2024, and it’s one of our FAVORITE Disney World eats!
We’ve got a short list of Disney rides that are TOTAL must-dos for us.
Many rides are classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean (that SMELL alone gives us nostalgic feels). Haunted Mansion is also a no-brainer for us because the special effects in that attraction STILL make us happy. We will also make time to hop on Soarin’ despite the fact if you’re not sitting right in the center, the Eiffel Tower looks like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. But we’ve got some good news, Soarin’ Over California is set to return soon in Disney California Adventure!
Big things are happening at the Disneyland Resort!
A possible Disneyland expansion, officially known as DisneylandForward, has been in play since March 2021 and we could be moving closer to a decision/progress in the near future. During a recent Anaheim City Council meeting, developers went into more detail about what expansion could feature, including what would be a VERY popular new land!
Spring is right around the corner — can you feel it?
The temperature is heating up in Disney World and we’re getting ready to kick off the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival too. We’re expecting lots of exclusive eats for spring around the Disney parks, and this new popcorn bucket and sipper are just the things to go with them!
We are so close to the Food and Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure — we can almost taste it!
As the festival gets closer and closer, we are spending more time daydreaming about all of the eats, drinks, and souvenirs that come with it. From old favorites to new dishes that we are excited to try, the anticipation is honestly killing us. We’ve been keeping up with the latest about the fest, and we just heard that a popular souvenir is coming back this year! [Read more…]
You heard right, Disney is teaming up with the creators of ‘Fortnite’ to bring us something we’ve never seen from the company before!
In Disney’s Q1 Earnings Call for 2024, Bob Iger mentioned several new concepts and ideas in store for The Walt Disney Company. One of those that was quick to grab our interest was the idea of Disney collaborating with Epic Games. [Read more…]
If you’re going to a Disney park on vacation, you might be expecting lovely weather!
After all, the domestic Disney parks are located in California and Florida — states known for their sunshine. But if you’ve ever been to Florida in the summertime, you know that it rains nearly every day…and now it seems California is getting the same treatment in February. We’ve got a weather WARNING for those heading to Disneyland Resort soon!
