That’s right — the holidays have arrived at Disneyland Resort. Even “it’s a small world” is getting in on the holiday spirit (which is why it’s closed right now). The Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure starts soon — and we’re already seeing the food booths going up!
The holiday season is in FULL swing in the Disney parks, and we’re certainly not complaining!

We’ve been keeping track of all the Christmas decor, figured out which new treats we can’t WAIT to eat, and have been checking in on the progress of the gorgeous gingerbread displays across the parks. And now, we know exactly when we’ll be able to enjoy the various displays in Disney World and Disneyland — and what sweet treats will be served up, too!
Hello from the West Coast! It’s Halloween weekend here in Disneyland, although the snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle might suggest otherwise.

But that’s okay — we know the holidays are right around the corner and we’re as ready as anyone to get our hands on one of those world-famous Disneyland candy canes and we can’t wait to check out all the food booths at California Adventure’s Festival of Holidays. In the meantime, though, let’s see what’s new!
The Walt Disney Company turns 100 next year, and Disney has some BIG plans to celebrate.
100 Years of Wonder
There will be some cool 100th anniversary merchandise (including a sweet spirit jersey AND platinum ears). Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland will get a special 100th anniversary makeover. The first day of the event is January 27th, 2023, and now EVERYONE can book park pass reservations for that day!
Halloween Time is in full swing in Disneyland, even if the holiday snow is already on Sleeping Beauty Castle.
What’s this?
Oogie Boogie Bash is still going on, but you’ll also be able to buy candy canes soon. It’s that time of year that makes us feel like we’re living in Nightmare Before Christmas, so let’s see what’s new at Disneyland Resort!
Genie+ allows Disneyland guests to skip long standby lines and use the Lightning Lane at many attractions.
Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle
Recently, Genie+ switched its pricing from a standard $20 per day to surge pricing, meaning that the price would fluctuate based on how much demand there was for the service. Today, we’ve seen the highest price yet for Genie+ in Disneyland.
It may not be Halloween yet but Disneyland is READY for the holidays!

Snow is already on Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure is almost here, and Disney just announced when you can get one of Disneyland’s most ICONIC holiday treats!
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will officially be released on November 11th, 2022 and one Disney resort will be celebrating in a BIG way.

We’ve already learned that a special character from the film will be in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park and we’ve spotted Black Panther Disney ears too. But now a whole Black Panther: Wakanda Forever CELEBRATION has been announced for Disneyland!

We’ve seen TV shows like She Hulk and Ms. Marvel, specials like Werewolf by Night, and, of course, those big blockbuster movies like Thor: Love and Thunder. Another movie just released in theaters is a big one — Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The sequel to the original Black Panther movie was released on November 11th, 2022, and we’ve already seen some celebrations, like a lot of cool merchandise.
