Disneyland Paris now has a reopening date!

This morning, Disney announced the reopening of the premiere European Disney resort at Disneyland Paris. We’ll be strolling by Sleeping Beauty Castle again on July 15th, but in the meantime, we’re taking a look at some of the health and safety measures we can expect when we head back into Disneyland Paris.
The Disney Parks have slowly started to re-open around the world.

While Shanghai Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland have reopened to guests, Walt Disney World theme parks will be welcoming guests again on July 11th and July 15th (and Disneyland Resort has a proposed reopening timeline as well). Although Tokyo Disneyland has yet to announce its re-opening timeline, Disneyland Paris will be opening back up to guests soon!
Today, Hong Kong Disneyland has reopened to guests, following the reopening of Shanghai Disneyland in May. And Disney is currently preparing for the upcoming reopening of Walt Disney World and the proposed reopening of Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland Paris has remained closed since mid-March, shutting down its theme parks and hotels right around the same time as its American counterparts.

And while April’s Star Wars Rival Run Weekend in Disney World was canceled this year due to the temporary closures, another runDisney event has been delayed.
As Disney is in the process of establishing new safety measures for the Disney parks around the globe, one measure that the company has mentioned — and that we have already seen in progress — is phased reopenings.

A phased reopening of Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs began on May 20th, and Shanghai Disneyland reopened a limited number of shopping, dining, and recreational experiences in Disneytown, Wishing Star Park, and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel in March prior to reopening the theme park on May 11th. And now we have received confirmation that Disneyland Paris will reopen an element of the Resort starting this weekend: Golf Disneyland. [Read more…]

Disneyland Paris has been closed along with the rest of the international Disney parks since March.

Though the official terminology is that the resort is closed “until further notice,” we’ve been keeping a close eye on what reservations and bookings have been canceled. Prior to today, reservations before June 30th were canceled, now the policy has extended into mid-July.
An update to the Disneyland Paris website reveals additional information regarding the upcoming Disney’s Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel.

Due to the current global health situation, construction was put on hold for the renovation of the hotel (as Disneyland Paris currently remains closed until further notice).
