Hey howdy hey from Disneyland Resort in California!
We have a LOT of updates on everything that’s been going on in Disneyland lately, so buckle up! We’re talking everything from holiday treats to a beloved land closing! Let’s get started!
Disneyland is FULL of amazing snacks and holiday treats, but you’re in for a good one today, people. We try it ALL when it comes to Disney food — the good, the bad, and the WEIRD! Every once in a while, though, we find an especially delicious snack that leaves us stuffed and SUPER happy.
Come to Disneyland with us as we try a (MESSY) snack we’ve never had before! Is it a new favorite, or a new failure? Let’s find out!
If there’s one thing that’ll always be true about the Disney parks, it’s that they’re always changing!
From massive park transformations to storyline updates and attraction overhauls, there’s always something new happening at the parks. Today in Disneyland Resort, we experienced a classic attraction in a new, updated format for the first time!
One of the most important parts of the holidays is the drinks! Take away from that what you will.
And, the thing the drink comes in is basically as important as the drink itself! We already saw the beloved Jingle Bell Sipper return to Disneyland this year, and now, another fan-favorite Disney mug is joining it!
Disney Genie+ has officially debuted in Disneyland.
Though it had a bit of a rocky start, it is now available for guests to use. We’ve already shared a look at the cost of Genie+ and the cost for Individual Attraction Selections (Pay-Per-Ride) in Disneyland, but now we’ve got a bit of an update.
The annual holiday overlay for “it’s a small world” is a time-honored tradition that, alongside Haunted Mansion Holiday, helps ring in the holidays at Disneyland!
Every year, we eagerly await this overlay but not too long ago, the attraction flooded, closing the ride! However, we’ve got some good news recently.
Love it or hate it, the Genie is here and it doesn’t look like it’ll be disappearing anytime soon.
Disney Genie (including the free Genie planning service and the paid Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane services) is available at both Disney World and Disneyland. We’ve tested out the system a LOT and shared all kinds of tips and tricks with you. But just how are the systems at Disney World and Disneyland different from one another? There are actually a few important distinctions. Here’s what you need to know.
Disneyland’s theme parks reopened earlier this year, and over time more things have started to come back to the parks and resort overall.
Candlelight Processional returned this year, and various hotels and restaurants reopened. We’ve also heard a bit about some of the returning entertainment that will be available next year. But, now we’ve got more Disneyland news!
Disney recently announced big plans to transform Disneyland’s Toontown area.
Toontown is currently scheduled to close in March 2022 and reopen in early 2023 with a new ride and a fully reimagined space. In the meantime, we’ve learned a bit more about one of the most special parts of the new Toontown — and Walt Disney fans will want to hear this.
Disney Genie launched in Disney World in October, and today it’s Disneyland’s turn!
We’ve been in the parks trying out both the free Genie and paid Genie+ and although all was well at first, we learned pretty quickly that things were going downhill. Check out what we’ve experienced so far today all before noon!
