Fantasmic! returns to Disneyland, a Magic Kingdom special event has SOLD OUT, and we may have an opening date for a popular Hollywood Studios ride.
April 5th marked the beginning of the Season of the Force at Disneyland Resort!
This special Star Wars season runs through June 2nd and celebrates the mega-popular franchise and all of us fans. Over in Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge, the celebration features character meet-and-greets, specialty snacks, and even a new fireworks show. We caught the fireworks show when it debuted, but Disney just shared that someone new might be joining the festivities!
After over a year, an ICONIC Disney show is FINALLY back!
Disneyland has plenty of great attractions, top-notch food, and wildly entertaining shows — but over the past year, it’s fair to say something has been missing. If you’re a big fan of Fantasmic! at Disneyland and/or Disney’s Hollywood Studios, then its notable absence at Disneyland Park has been disheartening, to say the least. Well, get ready to “dream a fantastic dream” again, Fantasmic! is BACK!
Something BIG is coming back to Disneyland!
Last year, Fantasmic was put on hiatus at Disneyland Park after the Maleficent dragon caught fire mid-show. Since then, Disney has been reworking the show a bit in anticipation of its reopening on May 24th, 2024. And now, right before the show returns, we’ve got a sneak peek!
Disneyland food is just BETTER according to many Disney Parks visitors.
One iconic snack stand to grab a bite to eat is Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, located in Downtown Disney. side from serving Disneyland’s Original Hand-dipped Corn Dogs, guests can also try a Golden Dragon Panko-Crusted Corn Dog. But keep an eye out for even more offerings! Signs at the stand will let you know when limited-time corn dogs are available. We’ve spied everything from a Pickle Corn Dog to a coconut-crusted dog! Now, though, we’ve spotted something new entirely, and we just HAVE to try it.
When you think of Disney snacks — what comes to mind?
Perhaps a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, pretzel, or popcorn tickles your fancy. Maybe you think of the controversial turkey leg or a classic Dole Whip. No matter what, some Disney snacks are just classics — and right now we’re bringing you our review of one of our favorites!
Back in April, it was announced that Disneyland character performers would vote to unionize.
The group, calling themselves ‘Magic United,’ planned to represent entertainment cast members to include theatrical performers, parade performers, character performers, and hosts, leads, and trainers that support the entertainment department, as well. Â Now, the official vote has taken place to determine if this unionization would occur, and we have the results.
Pixar Fest is in full swing in Disneyland, and we couldn’t be happier!
While there are tons of exciting offerings to explore in the parks, Pixar Place Hotel is also joining in on the fun! We got news on the new concierge lounge opening later this year, but if you’re a big fan of Pixar films, there’s something ELSE going on this summer you won’t want to miss!
Who doesn’t love a TV show filmed at a Disney theme park?
Television has been synonymous with Disney theme parks since BEFORE the first one even opened. Literally, the Disneyland television series debuted a year before the park, and the opening day live telecast was one of the highest viewed programs EVER at the time of its airing. Given that, it’s perhaps no surprise that MANY television shows have filmed at Disneyland and Walt Disney World over the years, with some producing more memorable episodes than others.Â
Disneyland’s ORIGINAL nighttime spectacular is ALMOST back.Â
Fantasmic! – the journey into Mickey Mouse’s mind that takes place on the Rivers of America each night – has been a staple at Disneyland since the show opened in 1992. Or it was until April of 2023, when the massive Maleficent dragon animatronic that served as the show’s climax caught fire. While no one was hurt, the fire did significant damage to the show’s infrastructure, and the show hasn’t run at Disneyland since. Now, that’s about to change.Â
