Last summer we welcomed Pixar Pier to Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort.
And today we’re getting one step closer to the COMPLETE Pixar Per with the unveiling of Jessie’s Critter Carousel!
With the announcement of the May 31st opening date for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland (Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios will follow on August 29th), it was realized that the new land would have an opening process like no other.
In regards to Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland specifically, it was announced that in the opening days — from May 31 – June 23, 2019 — reservations will be required to visit Galaxy’s Edge. (Information on how to make a reservation will be available at a later date, according to the Disneyland website. However, it has already been confirmed that guests with reservations in one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels will receive a reservation time.) [Read more…]
Disney has announced several new policies that you will want to know for your next trip to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort park.
While we’ve already discussed the new Smoking Policy, we’ll take another quick look at it here. But we’ll begin by discussing new limitations on Strollers (including a new Policy banning Stroller Wagons). We’ll also look at new rules surrounding the bringing of loose and dry ice in the parks, as well as when each policy goes into effect. [Read more…]

The return of spring also means the return of the Eggstravaganza in Disneyland Resort!
From April 5-21, 2019, the popular Disney egg scavenger hunt will take place across Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and the Downtown Disney District.
To participate, purchase a map with stickers for $6.99 (plus tax) at select merchandise locations. Then, search high and low for hidden “eggs” decorated with Disney and Pixar characters around Disneyland Resort. Place the corresponding sticker on the Eggstravaganza map to represent the location where you found each egg.

It almost seems as though Disney is releasing new ears every week. And while they’re all adorable…THESE are my new favorite ears…I mean horns…
I mean just take a look at these SULLEY ears that we spotted at Disneyland today!
They’re COLORFUL and FURRY just like our favorite friend “Kitty!” from Monsters, Inc.! The ears are covered in Sulley’s blue and purple spots, and the “horns” also seem to shimmer! ….So stinking adorable. And they’re so different from typical Disney ears, which I love.
Last month, the lineup of eateries coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland (opening on May 31, 2019) and Disney World’s Hollywood Studios (opening August 29, 2019) was revealed. Newly announced dining options included Ronto Roasters, the Milk Stand, and Kat Saka’s Kettle. And previously, we put the spotlight on the fast-casual spot, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
However, long before all of those were revealed, we learned about — and have been looking forward to ever since — Oga’s Cantina! The Orange County Register has taken an in-depth look at the highly anticipated Cantina, so we thought now would be a good time to put the spotlight back on Oga’s. [Read more…]
recently announced the return of the Flaming Hot Cheetos Cupcake, and we had to stop in for a taste. (Click here to see the announcement of this savory-sweet cupcake’s return!) But if you think this was a straightforward experience, prepare for a plot twist!
The first thing you’ll notice about the Flaming Hot Cheetos Cupcake is that it looks flaming hot. Those unnaturally bright red Cheetos are pulverized and used to coat the white cheddar frosting beneath. There is NO escaping the Cheetos or the subtle heat they bring to the cupcake.
It’s time for the Easter Bunny’s most exciting Disneyland delivery: Chocolate Easter Eggs! These popular and limited-time Candy Palace treats are a must-get for the Easter season, and we’ve cracked into the first TWO flavors of this year!
We looooove the Disneyland Easter Eggs, which are packed with fudge and coated in milk chocolate. Packaging has changed a bit over the years. It used to be more botanical, and now it’s simpler and features fewer bunnies. 😉 [Read more…]
It’s a Jolly Holiday when Disneyland’s classic bakery and cafe unveils new treats that are ready-made for spring. And you know we had to get in there for a bite (or two… or four).
The Strawberry Hand Pie is precisely what you want it to be: a sweet grown-up Pop Tart! [Read more…]
