Hello from the West Coast! It’s Halloween weekend here in Disneyland, although the snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle might suggest otherwise.

But that’s okay — we know the holidays are right around the corner and we’re as ready as anyone to get our hands on one of those world-famous Disneyland candy canes and we can’t wait to check out all the food booths at California Adventure’s Festival of Holidays. In the meantime, though, let’s see what’s new!
The Walt Disney Company turns 100 next year, and Disney has some BIG plans to celebrate.
100 Years of Wonder
There will be some cool 100th anniversary merchandise (including a sweet spirit jersey AND platinum ears). Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland will get a special 100th anniversary makeover. The first day of the event is January 27th, 2023, and now EVERYONE can book park pass reservations for that day!
When you think of classic Disney rides, which ride comes to mind first?

Love it or hate it, “it’s a small world” is one of those classic Disney rides with an earworm of a song, and you can find it at five different Disney Parks around the world! At a few of these parks, the ride is transformed for the holidays, and we just got an inside look at this big transformation.
Halloween Time is in full swing in Disneyland, even if the holiday snow is already on Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Oogie Boogie Bash is still going on, but you’ll also be able to buy candy canes soon. It’s that time of year that makes us feel like we’re living in Nightmare Before Christmas, so let’s see what’s new at Disneyland Resort!
Coco is still a super popular Disney movie, and for good reason.
We love COCO!
First, it still makes us cry! But also, we love getting a chance to meet Miguel in Disneyland every chance we get. We also LOVED seeing Ernesto de la Cruz during Oogie Boogie Bash and seeing how much Coco merchandise we find this time of year. Now, we’ve spotted a new pair of Coco Ears!
Genie+ allows Disneyland guests to skip long standby lines and use the Lightning Lane at many attractions.

Recently, Genie+ switched its pricing from a standard $20 per day to surge pricing, meaning that the price would fluctuate based on how much demand there was for the service. Today, we’ve seen the highest price yet for Genie+ in Disneyland.
It may not be Halloween yet but Disneyland is READY for the holidays!

Snow is already on Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure is almost here, and Disney just announced when you can get one of Disneyland’s most ICONIC holiday treats!

MagicBands have long been a staple for vacations at Walt Disney World, but Disneyland never had them…until now!

When Disney announced that MagicBand+ would be the next generation of MagicBands, they also revealed that the technology would FINALLY be coming to Disneyland Resort. The new bands have been available in Disney World for a while now, but they are officially launching at Disneyland TODAY. So, come along with us as we check them out!
