Over the past few weeks, Disneyland has had new drinks, treats, and merchandise coming our way. Now, they’ve brought back a fan-favorite souvenir — come with us to check it out!
It’s might only be August, but Disney is celebrating Halloween already!
It’s spooky season!
In Disney World, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has kicked off, we’ve seen a bunch of fun treats, and there’s a lot of spooky merchandise available. Over in Disneyland, things are off to a bit of a slower start — the first Oogie Boogie Bash isn’t happening until September 6th, but we have seen some decorations in Disney California Adventure. And now, more Halloween fun has arrived in Disneyland Park!

In fact, it’s kind of our job! We have our favorite noodles, a new favorite pasta dish, and recently found a new favorite QUICK breakfast. But, if you’re looking to have a slower morning in the park and have a table-service meal for breakfast, you now have one more place to do so because another Disneyland restaurant will be serving breakfast SOON!
In case you missed the HUGE news, the Splash Mountain rides in Disney World and Disneyland are going to be re-themed, with a story inspired by Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. The rides will be called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and they’ll have songs and characters from the movie.

In case you missed it, Disney is celebrating princesses from August 21st to the 27th with all kinds of special treats, entertainment, merchandise, and more in Disney Parks, and there’s also an official theme song!

Halloween decorations are starting to appear!
If you’ve ever been to Disneyland during Halloween, you’ll know that both parks go ALL out with the decorations, merchandise, and snacks. Plus there’s the Oogie Boogie Bash to look forward to! But for now, we’re just cruising through the parks looking for new food and merchandise.
There’s been a lot of news for Magic Key Holders recently!

Renewals for Magic Key Holders just recently opened up and guests waited hours to get their passes for another year. Disneyland even warned passholders that it may be difficult or just not possible for some guests to get the park reservations they wanted. If you’ve got a Magic Key and are headed into Disneyland soon, however, you’ll want to check out this special offering!

Millennium Falcon in Disneyland
We’ve been making our way around Disneyland, checking out a ton of food, including a Mac & Cheese Hotdog, Coke’s Dreamworld, and a quick breakfast that’ll become your new favorite. But we’re now heading to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to try one new and one returning Star Wars-inspired item at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.

Alien Pizza Planet
Halloween decorations have arrived, Magic Key renewals finally became available again (with a bit of a wait), and 2023 vacation packages are now open for booking! We’ve also got new food coming to the parks, including a brand new pasta dish at Alien Pizza Planet — and we’re trying it out!
Here at DFB, we’ve tried our fair share of funnel cakes.
Funnel Cake at EPCOT
We’ve tried a funnel cake with WORMS in it (okay, not real worms, but you get the idea) at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World, a Piña Colada Funnel Cake at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, and even a Cookies and Cream Funnel Cake in Disneyland that would make your inner eight-year-old so happy. Now, we’re heading back to Disneyland to try another new funnel cake!
