Things have been pretty busy over here in Disneyland — we’ve been celebrating Pride Month AND Celebrate Soulfully. Blue Bayou Restaurant just reopened, and we’ve been eating a LOT of new snacks. Summer in Disneyland IS LIT, y’all! So let’s see what’s new!

Celebrate May the 4th at Disney World!
Darth Vader has returned to the screen in the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+, and Disney is going all out to celebrate! The show had the biggest premiere in Disney+ history, and Disney has even released Obi-Wan’s lightsaber. There’s been a ton of Star Wars in the Disney Parks lately, and this iconic villain is returning to Disneyland!

We recently tried the completely REVAMPED menu at 50’s Prime Time Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a Supernova Pretzel from the Tomorrowland Pretzel Cart in Disneyland, and seven new snacks and treats from all over Disneyland that arrived for the summer. And today, we’re heading to Disney California Adventure to try another dish!
There are some Disney snacks that are just straight up classics, especially over in Disneyland!

Churros, corn dogs, giant pickles, Dole Whip — there are a lot of fun foods you can have while walking around the original Disney theme park. We love the classics, but sometimes it’s also exciting when those classics get a new twist! So, let’s check out a spin on a Disney pretzel over in Disneyland!

Stoney Clover Mickey and Friends Collection
Some of the most popular collaborations have been with Stoney Clover Lane, an accessory brand that has brought us Disney Princess, Mickey and Friends, Star Wars, and Frozen collections. And now, a NEW Disney x Stoney Clover Lane collection has arrived online and in the parks!
If you’ve never been to the GCH Craftsman Grill in Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa, you’re missing out on one thing: specialty hot dogs.
Craftsman Grill
The GCH Craftsman Grill features a new hot dog every month for Disneyland Resort, and we’ve had some interesting dogs! From a Gordita Dog to a Banh Mi Dog to the very strange Trick or Treat Dog, the Craftsman is not serving your typical theme park hot dogs. Now that it’s June it’s a new month which means — you guessed it — it’s time for a new hot dog! Any ideas about the theme this month? We doubt you’ll guess it!
Not long ago Disney announced the first-ever Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion ticketed event, a four-hour event during which Disney will celebrate the last six decades of graduating classes in Disney California Adventure.

This event will allow guests to experience exclusive offerings not typically available in Disneyland Resort, such as special cafeteria-inspired dishes, characters, photo ops, entertainment, and more. Today Disney revealed a few more details about this brand new event, and we know the dates and some of the food that guests can choose from!

There is a LOT going on right now over here in Disneyland — Pride Month has arrived (along with a SLEW of new snacks), the Soul of Jazz exhibit has officially opened, Blue Bayou Restaurant has reopened, and Magic Key Pass sales have been paused! Oh, and Fantasmic! and Tale of the Lion King are back! Whew — it’s a lot. But we’ve got ALL the updates from Disneyland, so let’s get started!
Much like Disney World, Disneyland is home to some unique (and ICONIC!) restaurants.
Blue Bayou
If you head to Disney California Adventure, you can eat both giant AND teeny tiny foods at Pym Test Kitchen. Or maybe you want to eat in a Cars-inspired diner at Flo’s V-8 Cafe. One of the most unique eateries in Disneyland, though, could be Blue Bayou Restaurant because it lets you eat INSIDE an actual ride! But, those in search of the world-famous Monte Cristo (at least according to us) haven’t been able to visit the restaurant, as it was closed for refurbishment — until now!Â
