Okay, Cars fans, you’re going to want to see what we just found at Disneyland.
Flo’s V-8 Cafe
If you’ve ever visited Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, you’ll know how much attention to detail Disney put into that land. You’ll also be familiar with Flo’s V-8 Cafe, the Route 66 inspired diner where you can grab some classic American comfort food, including Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken. Now there’s a new souvenir honoring that dining spot!
So West Coast readers (and those planning to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon), is everyone happy that Disneyland parking trams have finally returned?!

We bet the answer to that is mostly “yes” because the walk from the parking lot to the Disneyland Resort area can be a lengthy one. That aside, there’s a lot of other new stuff to report on from Disneyland, so let’s get to some updates!
February is Black History Month, and you can celebrate in Disneyland!
Celebrate Soulfully in Downtown Disney
Disneyland is holding a celebration called Celebrate Soulfully all throughout the month of February to celebrate Black history and culture. Live music, specialty dishes, and installations by Black artists will all be at Disneyland Resort, and we got a special look at all of the festivities!

Even if you don’t, we bet you can quote some of its most famous lines — you’ll know that “Welcome, foolish mortals” is totally a thing you say to greet guests and that “there’s always room for one more.” You’ve probably also seen some pretty awesome Haunted Mansion souvenirs, including ornaments, pins, accessories, Funko Pops, and more! But we found a Haunted Mansion souvenir at Disneyland we haven’t seen before — and it is raising our spirits!
Disneyland and churros go together like peanut butter and jelly — you can’t have one without the other. We love trying new treats in Disneyland; whether it’s a new take on an old favorite or a crazy new idea, we’ll eat it ALL! But did you know that you can get one of Disneyland’s iconic snacks outside the parks?

Black Tap at Downtown Disney
But when Disneyland promises that something is “magic” or “magical,” we generally have pretty high expectations. Take MagicBands, for example (which are coming to Disneyland soon) — they are magical because they can act as your room key, credit card, and park ticket! Or the Magic Key Program, which recently replaced Disneyland’s Annual Passholder Program.
With February in full swing, we’re all gearing up for Valentine’s Day. Everything is pink and red, there are candy hearts everywhere, and love is in the air. Here at DFB, love is in the air for one of our favorite treats — cupcakes!
