Wait, wasn’t it just Halloween yesterday? We’re not sure how this happened but somehow it is already MARCH…WHAT?!
Okay, we’ve checked our calendars a million times, and yes, we can confirm it is officially March. We may have just started the month, and some of you may still be experiencing winter weather, but Disney is moving on to spring and Easter! Today, we spotted a whole bunch of spring-themed treats at Downtown Disney. If you’re looking for some Insta-worthy sweet treats, we’ve got just the things.
An iconic treat returned to Disneyland Resort today!
Disneyland Park is typically home to a BELOVED treat this time of year. Easter is coming up, and that means we have a hankerin’ for the HANDMADE chocolate fudge Easter Eggs that tend to grace our presence. We were nervous we wouldn’t get to taste them this year due to the park closure, but we don’t have to worry anymore!
Happy MARCH, y’all! As we spring into a new month, we’re peeking once again at what Salt & Straw in Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District is scooping up for seasonal flavors!
Five flavors from the Vault Series have been re-released for a limited time. And one of those flavors —Â Brown Ale and Bacon Ice Cream — is getting the spotlight as Salt & Straw has shared a “Behind the Scoops” look at how it’s made! [Read more…]
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure have both been closed since March of last year, and they’re both expected to be closed at least for a little while longer.
Last year, however, Downtown Disney did reopen at Disneyland Resort. And later, Buena Vista Street in California Adventure reopened as an extension of Downtown Disney. But, soon guests won’t be able to stroll through Buena Vista Street…at least not for free.
We spent our day yesterday checking out some interesting developments.
Stroll around Downtown Disney in Disneyland Resort with us to see allllll of the latest news when it comes to food, construction, and merchandise!
Our mouths are watering just THINKING about the beignets at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express.
A few weeks ago, we tried the Mardi Gras Glazed Beignets at this Downtown Disney spot. Yum, right?! Well, when we heard about some new additions to the menu, we just had to come back to give them a taste. We’re trying SNICKERDOODLE Beignets today, guys!
Ever thought, you know what would be cute? Sticking a little face on Cinderella Castle! Well, that’s what Jerrod Maruyama is doing!
Jerrod Maruyama is the artist behind the Hipster Mickey line and you might recognize his name from some recent designs we’ve spotted in the parks (like this MagicBand). He’s been bringing us too-cool-for-school Mickey gear — like a Hipster Mickey hat — for a little while now and we spotted a new home collection from the hip artist on our recent visit to Disneyland Resort!
Disneyland Legacy Passholders: you now have more time to save!
Disneyland Legacy Passholders have recently been able to save on merchandise both online and in the parks. Those perks were about to end, but now Disney has extended their in-store offer!
February 22nd is National Margarita Day and this is a holiday we can fully get behind!
Watermelon margaritas, peppermint margaritas, even tomato margaritas, we’ll take them all! And Tortilla Jo’s at Downtown Disney is celebrating the occasion with some special drink deals today only!
