We just love Minnie Mouse here at the DFB!

Are you familiar with New York City’s Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer? Then you may be excited to hear that this award-winning burger joint will open its first California location in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District next year!
Black Tap will bring their well-known All-American and Vegan Burgers to the new location, along with their signature CrazyShake™ milkshakes, like The Cotton Candy Shake (Strawberry) and The Bam Bam Shake (the “Fruity Pebbles” Shake). Garnishes for these over-the-top Shakes include items like lollipops, rock candy, cotton candy, candy pearls, and more!
Heather Sievers, our Disneyland correspondent and the queen behind @DiningInDisney, knows how to have fun with Disney food. She’s hooking us up with Disney Frankenfoods, which are mash-ups between two (or more!) complementary Disney foods. Today we have one of her most recent food combos — a Churro Cotton Candy Churro!
Churro Cotton Candy is found in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney. You can find tubs of cotton candy in unique flavors like Strawberry Lemonade, Green Apple, and Pina Colada! These tubs are super convenient; it’s a lot easier to keep your cotton candy fresh throughout the day when it comes in a tub rather than a bag.
Heather went straight for the Churro Cotton Candy. But she also knew it wasn’t quite complete. Because what could go better with Churro Cotton Candy than an actual Churro? So she grabbed one of those, too. Wrap that cinnamon-sugar stick in the spiced spun sugar, and BA-DAH-BING!
You’ve got yourself a Churro Cotton Candy Churro! [Read more…]
ALOHA from Disneyland’s Downtown Disney! THAT is where the Downtown Disney Summer Celebration is running now through September 4th.
The event — sponsored by Dole Packaged Foods, features over a dozen special menu items found at various Downtown Disney restaurants. These tastes of the islands will be accompanied by regular weekly appearances of the Polynesian performers of Tupua. Beginning July 1st, Tupua will help set the scene on the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage with song, dance, and color. Moving forward, Tupua will appear on Friday evenings through the run of the event.
We mentioned a “taste of the islands,” too, though, didn’t we? Find a Hawaiian BBQ Sandwich at Earl of Sandwich. Or stop by ESPN Zone for Hawaiian Pork Sliders, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, or a Summer Mojito.
at Disney Springs is one of our all-time favorite sandwich spots at Disney World! And this week they’re celebrating British Sandwich Week.
As the story goes, back in 1762 John Montague, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, didn’t want to leave the card game he was playing so he asked for roasted beef between two slices of bread and the sandwich was born!
To celebrate the sandwich, Earl of Sandwich guests can enjoy $5 featured sandwiches from May 15 to May 19. [Read more…]

Heeeeeeyyyyy! As all of you know, I just returned to from a fantastic visit to Disneyland for the opening of the 2017 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival! But I also had a blast checking into all of my favorite spots.
I made a point to get to one place especially — the new Sprinkles located in the Downtown Disney District in Disneyland Resort!
You guys — I make NO secret about my deep and abiding love for Sprinkles. Well, my love for cupcakes in general goes deep. After all, Disney Cupcakes are some of my favorite things ever.
And there’s something well, magical, frankly, about having Disney and Sprinkles located in the same place.
And now, I can enjoy that Disney Sprinkles fun whether I’m in Walt Disney World or Disneyland!
As I entered the store, a glance at the menu showed me that many of my favorites were available on the day of my visit. This outlet is much smaller than the Disney Springs store, however. [Read more…]
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you and yours!
As you’re searching through the closet for your favorite green garment to don today, you may want to know about some green and Irish-themed EATS you can search for should you find yourself in Orlando’s Disney Springs or Anaheim’s Downtown Disney District on March 17th! (And heads up: a few of these treats will stick around through the rest of the month!)
We’ve already shared some of the treats you will spot around the Disney World parks earlier this week, but now let’s take a look at the Leprechaun-snacks you’ll find in Disney World’s shopping, entertainment and dining district!
Even outside of the highly recommended Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival at Raglan Road (get all the details here!), there is still plenty of Irish-themed grub to go ‘round. And the one we’re most excited about is the Irish Stout Poutine covered in corned beef, braised cabbage, beer cheese and chives at The Daily Poutine!
We’ve already mentioned the seasonal ganache options at The Ganachery, which include Irish Cream, Stout, and Irish Whiskey. [Read more…]
